This game is fucking cool looking. I hope this ends up being another massive Kickstarter success.
Looks like there is more to it then just sneaking around, awesome.
Gives me doom 2016 vibes from the aesthetics. And I loved that games style
this is what happens when you masturbate too much on sundays
It takes a talented (or twisted) mind to be able to visualize such a feverish, claustrophobic, oppressive and chaotic setting.
There's just so much atmosphere here.
I love the happy bubbly font they use for objectives

hey bud welcome to hell ;) i know you're busy suffering for all of eternity and all but why don't you go on over to the hell supermarket and buy some hell groceries for satan
I love the incredibly grotesque and macabre environments, but I wonder how much of a game it is. The demons seem rather easy to lose and the penalty for failing is that the body you possessed got killed. It doesn't seem like much of a penalty.
I hope they make the enemies smarter.
Satan is a really good architect
I still feel all the footage they show feel incredibly fake for some reason
Reminds me of a modern version of the Oblivion realm from the Elder Scrolls games.
Game looks awesome but gameplay seems very very very meh
They keep talking about horror but all i see is spooky environments, i don't really catch anything that seemed tense, scary or disturbing besides big demon titties
I feel like becoming an immortal soul that can possess anyone on death kind of kills the tension in regards to a survival horror. They don't even seem to cause the protagonist much pain, they just kind of instantly bash his head in.
Looks decent, although they really need to put their videos in 60fps. That motion blur becomes really obnoxious to look at in videos.
Seems, i dunno, a little generic? Like all the sounds almost seem stock and the environments, while nice looking, aren't really anything we haven't seen out of other depictions of Hell. Still interested though.

I couldn't make it more than 1/3 of the way in because of that honestly, every time the camera moved it felt like my eyes were out of focus
Was that the red dragon?
oh shit what you can possess a demon? awesome
There's another game with similar gameplay coming out soon and it's very much like this. I can't think of its name.
Oh man, every time I hear about this game I get it mixed up with Scorn.
Weird having two games that are set in either literal Hell or what's basically H.R Geiger's version of it, coming out around the same time.
edit: wow you'd almost think we did that on purpose.

Holy shit that's a triple.

Scorn, which I keep confusing this game with.

what
The movement feels so bad just from seeing the video, it's like the character's shoelaces are tied together.
what could all these dead babies possibly have done to wind up in hell

you swallowed your dad's spare change so now we're gonna hollow out your head and turn you into a shitty candle

Depending on your Biblical interpretation, died before being Christined, perhaps?
the motion blur had me suspicious it might be UE4 with some defaults left in, but the weird magic GPU ACCELERATED FLAME EMBER PARTICLES were just the ugliest confirmation.
as for the game itself, 200% body horror environment stuff just doesn't do me anything. It's cool as a motif but it just becomes sloppy background noise and a game of 'spot the reused assets and tiling textures' for me.
the death>find a new body thing could be played out well with some limitations, like, if you die you could be restricted to only being able to hop into a host you've seen/talked to (checkpoint saving) previously, so you'd have to go further and further back if you keep dying to one thing. Maybe hosts are extremely sparse and this is just the tutorial difficulty level where they expect you to learn by trial and error and trip up a bunch, and the extra people around is because this is like the front entrance to hell where all the new damned get dropped off and they're all still pretty fresh and alive

In catholicism if you died as a baby before being baptized, you would go to purgatory instead of heaven. Dont know other religions though.
Alrighty, so from what I understand from the developers comments in the Kickstarter comment section, there will actually be a hard limit to the amount of times you can posses someone after death. Another thing is that there are more than one enemy type in the game; some, for instance are blind, which might explain why the demons in this demo seems like they are easy to avoid... the PC do hold his breath while they are near, as to perhaps make as little sound as possible. Presumably, other demons will require different stealth tactics.
Really cool looking game, I'm psyched for this since I have longed for something new in the horror genre, setting-wise. But they defo need to show more gameplay and explain what you will be 'doing'; like how the various gameplay mechanics actually works and such.
as much as I like the environments they really have to have something else to make it more unique other wise it'll feel just like another horror game imo
I formally request that all newcomers to Hell get a fresh pair of Crocs to walk around in.
