they look weirdly cartooney? mostly their faces
Features are a lot more exaggerated, sculpted hair instead of photo texture.
Very Dota2-ish if you ask me.
dunno about you guys but I really like the style of the new models.
They look nice at a distance. Weird at close.
I think they look pretty neat, but I don't play the game myself. Perhaps the slight shift in art direction might be jarring to long-time players.
Why are they dripfeeding these new character models? If they are going through the trouble of modifying each individual faction, they should just release them in a pack.
The artstyle difference between the new SAS vs old Separatists, new Phoenix vs old Seals, and now these new Leets vs old IDF is jarring.
Side by side all the differences are really neat and you do see a line of progression.
Although he brings up a good point - how DO those masks not fall off?
I can't wait to see what the other factions would look like in that style.
If they'll get rid of IDF's silly hats I would ve pretty upset.

I can't believe they're adding the CS terrorists to Dota 2
Those skin and hair textures are atrocious.
They remind me of Saint's Row characters for some reason.
CSS models are still my favorite.
never liked the csgo character models, neither do I like these ones. css had the perfect ones.
Sorry, but this is all I can think of when I see the new bald guy model:

That mustache looks totally out of place.

The leet model went from "Hello sir" to "Your daughter calls me daddy too"
They're certainly very... stylized. I mean, I agree with some of the comments made already on this, they should be releasing these updates in larger chunks. As it stands there's clashing player models and some even clashes with art style in the maps (depending on how old the map is).

CSGO development has always been pretty slow. Supposedly the team is very small.

You tie it on tight and below the widest point of your head.
They look great. I am not a fan of how the hair looks but it's not really a big deal.

From 'I work at Starbucks' to 'I will carry on the Boss' legacy!"

Leet World has pretty much engraved those models in my mind forever. Incredibly memorable.
I like these new ones though. Much more character to them.
I like the CSS leet the most, especially how his eyes are visible somewhat too.
Though these are nice as well

Valve have said that they don't like holding onto content once it's done. That's why the player-models are being released one faction at a time instead of all at once.

Doesn't CSGO only have 8 people working on it?
The CSS model's full name is Cortez Emilio Alejandro Jesus Cardinal, and he is the greatest badass this world has ever known.
