Well, because i can find no other place to post this i decided to post it here, i need some help making a Platformer in flash 8 (actionscript 2) if you can find any thing on this- it would be great, like a tutorial on how to make something like this- [url]http://www.crazymonkeygames.com/Stickman-Sam.html[/url] . Kinda the platformer Shooter. any small tutorial would be great thanks! (p.s. I know how to do actionscript- I just cant figure out this scripting. so if its advanced you can send it anyway)

There any good reason you are using the outdated flash 8 instead of the current flash 10?
And what's this doing in the "movies and flash videos" section anyway?
Would probably be better suited for the programming section

Sorry to break it to you, even though it's painfully obvious, but there will be no quick tutorial on how to make a complex game like a shooting platformer.
Platformers are easy as hell to make if you have the right code.
The shooting part on the other hand, I don't really like working with. With those kind of games you kind of have a love/hate relationship with arrays and that kind of stuff.

i know how to use this, i can make platformers- but i cant make the shooting part, im using flash 8 because i bought it am not willing to cough up hundreds of dollars to get the new one, if an admin could move this thread to the programming i would really appreciated it :D thanks
