I love the way these videos are presented. The editing is spot on with the jump cuts, and the fact that the guy in the videos are silent. Just a guy building cool shit in the forest.
that tuber is so blue
i know in reality its extremely mundane, but god damn watching this made me suddenly want to farm
he's getting closer to Bread.
I wonder if in the distant future, there's going to be a video series like this where the guy goes into a junkyard and starts making radios out of scrap powered by acid-base redox reactions.
God I feel so relaxed after watching the video.
3:34 in the video, a coiled up black snake. Now I'm slightly concerned, I expect he has an understanding of snakes for his own safety.
3:34 in the video, a coiled up black snake. Now I'm slightly concerned, I expect he has an understanding of snakes for his own safety.
Probably just a rat snake, pretty common.
The fact he's cutting stems off and replanting them back and forth to get higher yields is pretty damn awesome.
Probably just a rat snake, pretty common.
And a good thing to have, I would imagine it helps keep pests out.
He should have showed a clip of him getting sweet potato seeds at Home Depot.
In only the shorts.
He has now technically colonized that patch of Australia.
here he is growing potatoes and yams in a fucking forest and i can't grow a single tomato plant over the course of 7 months
He has now technically colonized that patch of Australia.
You mean New Guinea right?
i know in reality its extremely mundane, but god damn watching this made me suddenly want to farm
Same here, in fact these videos honestly make me want to just get away from everything modern in life and just live as simple as this, but I'm way too dependent on technology and socializing to do something like that permanently. I do however seriously want to go camping survivalist style, trying to live off the land as much as possible, that's like one of my life goals tbh.
Probably just a rat snake, pretty common.
Not necessarily. In the part of Australia where he is, a black snake could be a red-belly black snake which are dangerous.
I was hyped to see this come to fruition ever since he mentioned planting sweet potatoes in one of his older videos. I love me some sweet potatoes!
You mean New Guinea right?

FAQ: Q. Where is this? A. Far North Queensland, Australia.
when does he reach the space age??????????
I wonder if in the distant future, there's going to be a video series like this where the guy goes into a junkyard and starts making radios out of scrap powered by acid-base redox reactions.
isnt acid-base and redox 2 different reactions, one with hydrogen and the other with electrons
In only the shorts.
queensland is basically australian florida so I think don't think anyone would even blink at a shirtless guy at a hardware store
Probably just a rat snake, pretty common.
as others said, this is Australia. Unless you're an expert, every snake should be considered a lethal snake.
isnt acid-base and redox 2 different reactions, one with hydrogen and the other with electrons
I'll have to check my chemistry notes, I probably just messed up the name but I'm referring to the reactions where you submerge copper into a copper ion solution and zinc into a zinc ion solution and connect them to each other with a salt bridge and unreactive electrodes
isnt acid-base and redox 2 different reactions, one with hydrogen and the other with electrons
2 parts of the same thing
