madness combat is among the best things ever and i never knew there was a full version of the song in the third episode and i wanted to share it with some cool dudes so i posted it
this makes me super nostalgic. i hope Project Nexus 2 be really good, even though i'm more of a fan of madness interactive lol.
hopefully we see more episodes after he's done with the game.
John-Paul Walton a.k.a. mmodule has been forgotten by time. I still have mp3's of everything that was on his website before it went down, including the unfinished Wayfarer EP, which is absolutely amazing and it's a shame he never finished it.
Ah man, I was just thinking about Madness Combat the other day. What a blast from the past.
Wasn't this the song in the first Madness Combat flash game as well?
This one takes me back, 5 was my favourite for a long time.

I think being 3D kind of ruins the style

nah, i have it, it's really good and managed to stay madness combat-like even in 3d.
Madness Combat was the shit, yo. Everything a kid could want in a violent testosterone-fueled mindfucky flash animation.

we madness thread now

I don't mind PN2 being 3D, PN is too easy because of how easy it is to score the headshots. Episode 1.5 was fairly challenging + I think 1.5 episode maps are more optimized than 1st episode maps. The only problem I have with PN is a Flash and grindy arena. Overall it's pretty addictive experience.
The MC10 theme song is such a banger.

Some of the edgiest flash videos ever made but god fucking damn they were super fun to watch
I wonder if a full fledged game can be made with Madness.

Madness Project Nexus 2, it's in the beta now. I heard they will release Early Access in December to polish the game, then they will quickly move to full release. Game is going to cost 15$. ( or 10$ )

Besides the Project Nexus game people here mentioned, Hotline Miami and Superhot are pretty much the only games I can think of that have that mix of melee, shooting and weapon throwing that I'd expect to see in a Madness-like game.

If they were available for free, care to share?
