It.. Doesnt look pretty good. But i understand the game is in a very early state, so i will just not judge the game just yet.
guys will this game work on my pentium? it looks too real Anyway, this looks really nice. I've been a fan of retro 90's shooters so this looks right up my alley. Was this going to have multiplayer or not? I don't remember.
I dislike the idea of extra weapons being unreloadable, I feel that being able to keep using and cycling between multiple weapons would prevent the combat from getting stale, but other than that it does look good. Level design is a lot better than expected, like the non-regenerating health and the use of blood to counter environmental hazards, the lack of falling damage and projectile-only ranged enemies are also really nice. Still some room for improvement, but my fear that it was just going to skate by on aesthetic has been reasonably alleviated. Hope that helmet overlay on the HUD can be removed in options though, it's pointless clutter.
Sad to say, but I don't think that they'll make the KickStarter deadline for the project in time.
Hopefully there's a barrel launcher. But primary gun variations and types would be nice for the randomly generated levels.
Sad to say, but I don't think that they'll make the KickStarter deadline for the project in time.
They're about a third of the way there in a third of the time, if they get a little more attention they can make it.
Why are you guys saying it doesn't look good? I'm getting major Quake 2 vibes. I also like the fact that all of the weapons are projectile based - hitscan weapons are what ruined most of Tribes Ascend for me.
Not a fan of the artstyle, either it's your usual lazy lowpoly pixelart, or it's trying to be Doom/Quake/Quake-like (and failing), or both.
Looks cool. But I wanna be able to move faster or at least have the option to change acceleration options.
Feels like it wants to be a wanna-be-hit and end up like minecraft but with DooM and Quake inspiration. It didn't get me any excited at all about it.
The gun seems to be way too big on screen. And the helmet hud is large too on the bottom of the screen. Other than that it looks really fun.
It looks like a lot of fun, the only thing I really would complain about is that I think they should make the textures kind of blurry. They look too clean to really emulate that feeling of old style games since they're so cleanly blocky. Besides that though it looks like a blast, cant wait to see how it looks as it gets more developed.
That "action" music seems painful to hear after a while. I think it's because of these high pitched melodies.
the gun sounds like a peashooter, and the combat in general looks underwhelming
the gun sounds like a peashooter, and the combat in general looks underwhelming
Keep in mind that this hasn't even made it out of a kickstarter campaign yet. I think this shows a lot of promise but I still have my doubts
i love this games art style
the movement looks like a sloppy Unity fps rather than the Doomy origins it's trying to replicate hope they keep working at it though its a cool alpha
for pre-alpha it looks great
I hope that kickstarter succeeds, just because if not, they put so much fucking effort into the advertising for this campaign.
Setting and music remind me of System shock 2. Looks great, I've been thinking of playing an old-school fps again.
I love the kind of hud where you see the interior of the helmet. However I wish it would bob and move around a bit while moving/looking around. Like the Crysis 2 hud.
oh no I was born in 97 the design of the enemies is off imo, some don't fit the space theme [t]https://s3.amazonaws.com/ksr/assets/003/072/959/4ebba970a6f06ca32d401e323c11f122_large.gif?1419280767[/t] too much halloween I'd say
That Helmet HUD is nauseating.
Even the shitty opening walls map design gives me vibes from the past [t]https://s3.amazonaws.com/ksr/assets/003/146/084/34e89645f0df0ed2dd7f206bedb6ab79_large.gif?1421366645[/t]
Damn, I really want this to get funded. Only thing I'm not big about is the 3 primary weapons, I would like to be able to buy (and keep) a variation of interesting weapons as primary rather than disposable backups.

That means your arsenal of weapons is constantly changing rather than having a static loadout.

tbh I don't actually like quakestyles that badly I'm more of an unreal gold kind of guy [editline]30th January 2015[/editline] but I'm hyped for this for sure
something about that stalker is just screaming anime
might be because it's literally doing a Naruto ninja run
