Hearing Ethan on one of these is weird :v:
I love Ethan and h3h3, but I don't feel his voice really fits this kind of content.
It doesn't throw me off as much as I would expect but it's still a funky crossover.
I was waiting for random bursts of coughing throughout the entire video.
Man I loved this game as a kid, I wish I still had my PS2 copy.
If I didn't know of Ethan and h3h3, this would be a really normal video. But knowing him, I kept expecting him to sign off with "papa bless"

I don't know, Ethan nailed the infomercial voice and tone there.
I expected Ethan's contribution to the video to be comical, but that was a solid informative video about the game.
I have no idea how there isn't a remake, or a remaster of the game, didn't it sell fantastically and was positively received?

There aren't any? Aww
Its so weird how everyone are getting featured in everything, Filthy Frank and Jontron in h3h3, Cr1t1kal in Super Planet Dolan, etc.
Well, FF, JonTron, and H3H3 all live in NYC iirc and their all friends, so that has a big part to do with it.
This game was awesome
I wonder how much they paid him

Probably not a lot. It's recognition for his growing channel

A friend of mine did an episode for them, I'll ask her. Maybe she can shed light on it.

JonTron, part of normal boots had Ethan in his food video
Probably just asked 'hey wanna be the voice in a dykg video'

I personally believe money isn't really a factor is such videos, perhaps a small sum of 50$ or something but nothing big.
I think it's just for recognition. It's not like they get to act like they do in their videos and have the script bent to their character. Anyone could say the same lines and it wouldn't make the video any better or worse. Just that both parties of DYKG and in this case H3H3 get a symbiotic benefit of viewership and recognition. That's probably why people help DYKG and why DYKG gets well known youtubers to help them.

Ethan has a twitch channel, he's pretty into games.

Oh I know, I just never expected him to be in a DYKG.
Love this game, I play it every year around Halloween.

The game is overall great but it holds one of the records for worst finale in a video game. Drive from end to end of the city in an increasingly strict time limit... 4 times.
it's nice to know after billions of views dykg is only now beginning to cite the cutting room floor wiki for anything. it's a start, i suppose.

but last time I checked a good chunk of the cutting room floor pages were pretty bad?
I remember a large discussion about how the cutting room floor was bad (don't remember where, pretty sure it was Facepunch, barely remember what it was about)

it's a wiki so pages vary in quality. the "big ones" (the ones dykg are most likely to use information from) are pretty cleanly laid out and categorized and have plenty of information. regardless, the perceived quality of tcrf is irrelevant. dykg gets millions of views and rakes in ad money and tcrf gets maybe $150/mo from ad rev + their patreon (and this is before server costs), at the very least they can cite tcrf if they're going to so blatantly use information that was contributed by tcrf's users.

I hated that mission in Level 6 where you drive this orange car from the filming studio to a gas station on the other side of the map collect stuff with a really short time limit.

Don't forget the toxic barrel of bullshit that explodes and fails the mission if you get into the slightest crash
he's actually really good at this kind of stuff
It's really cool when I found out that Ethan is really into games, I didn't know he likes to play games a lot until I saw his comment under one of ancienteality's video
I want h3h3 game reviews
and colabs with dunkey

The game was pretty fucking neat, but some missions were fucking awfully designed
