That's a lot of Jaws movies coming out in 2015, then.
All those people complaining that technology isn't that advanced in 2015, yet they didn't contribute anything towards the goal themselves.

They didn't take a look at 80s computers then.
All the shit like flying cars and hoverboards are practically useless anyway. Technology advances where there's a benefit to be gained.
One thing BTTF got right is that 3D movies are just a gimmick.
If I remember correctly Back To The Futures 2015 wasn't supposed to be a serious prediction of the future anyway. It was just made to give people an idea that things had moved on. Having said that though, it remarkably got the dawn of Widescreen and wall mounted flat TVs right. Many more channels, too. (I think there were six on screen in the film, which is way more than the four the UK had when it came out)
Wow today is the day Marty Mcfly arrived in the future!

We might not be in the kind of future with flying cars and things like that, but we are still a pretty futuristic society in some respects. The computing power and sheer volume of data that is out there on the internet is pretty amazing. Also there have been some pretty amazing advances in materials sciences.
I think we are probably headed to a more GITS or cyberpunk kind of future.
How can someone be that obsessed with a movie series?
I always thought Doc predicted the rain stopping because he'd already been to that date in 2015

Honestly the whole BTTF 2015 thing was more amusing to think about than actually look forward to.

Universal Pictures is obviously going to pull a Microsoft and skip some numbers.
