This is about as ridiculous as Tom Clancy's SSN.
Expected Star Trek, was disappointed.

So a ship that was already 30 years old by the time Star Trek came out, is superceded by some B level TV show's ship.
Not to mention that I assume you cannot have submarines in space, and why would it be Japanese.
What's the story behind this? Why would the Japanese, one of our closest allies, be attacking a US carrier group?

A swedish sub sank the USS Ronald Reagan in training, why should this be impossible?

it must have been an accident...maybe we should practice with Norway instead since they can be professional.
I always find it interesting how Americans and our culture are interpreted in Japanese media. Like in GITS, Cowboy Bebop, and FLCL.

US: "Oh my god, 50% of their porn is animated children in sexual acts! Perverts!"
Japan: "No lolicon? What a strange place."
Ok, were shall I begin?
1. Those are American sub officers
2. The Enterprise is a carrier, not a Cruiser
although the do show flight-decks, the don't show a carrier, the helo's are SH 60s by the looks of it, and don't have to much combat effectiveness other then Sub Hunting.
Needs more whales.

1. You'd have to ask the creators. I believe they deliberately wanted the sub officers to wear JMSDF uniforms and U.S. Navy service caps.
2. Was there anything in that Enterprise was called a "cruiser"? Uh, ASW is exactly why they want the SH-60s to be out there.
I got the version with English subtitles which explains things a bit better. Still pretty ridiculous though, but at least it's more entertaining than seeing USS Cheyenne sink the entire PLA Navy in Tom Clancy's SSN.

Sweden, keep your shit going that way. I hope they stay the superior naval combatant.
I support the Swedish, they seem like the kind of people that can fuck shit up.
