Smash Melee - General - Facepunch Forum

Anyone here a fan of the competitive melee scene, just recently got into it and would like to know more about it. Right now I'm loving the peach players such as Armada and MacD. Well, we currently have our own [URL="https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1501396"]Smash threads[/URL] here on FP, but there's not a whole lot of comp Melee vids that get posted there. Your best bets might be SmashBoards, which has character threads for each character, tourney threads, and the like, or /r/smashbros or /r/SSBM, which tend to get a lot of activity during Melee tourneys. You can expect to find good Melee moments around those parts. Of the two subreddits, /r/SSBM might be a better bet

Falco and Falcon are the two characters which I love watching in melee. Mango and Westballz make Falco look absolutely insane and S2J, Wizzrobe, Jeapie and n0ne are great to watch (but never do well rip the Falcon meta). Recently Mango started to come out of his downturn with a win over Hungrybox at Dreamhack Austin. If you get a chance, watch the top 8 stream vod on the dreamhacksmash twitch channel for some more recently great matches.
