Just stick with a daki.
The fabric does feel nice, but you wouldn't want to sleep with it since it feels uncomfortable (both physically and mentally).
I got a daki for a skit.
You're probably better off finding a real trap.
Depends on what you get and how you sleep. Sleeping with a daki does wonders to my back. I sleep on my side and the pillow helps keep my head and legs level.
Then there's the material options. As an owner of [del]uncountable amounts of dakimakuras[/del] a shop that handles production of things similar of these little shits I can tell you that there are myriads of textile that can be used. But most daki printers usually simplify these down small options like Peach Skin, 2 Way Tricot etc. The most common (just like the one in the video) is peach skin, which is 100% polyester, has a soft feel to the touch, is super smooth and has (what some say objectively) best printing performance (I disagree). But since its a woven fabric it doesn't stretch at all which means getting the cover on is a bitch and the result is usually a pretty hard pillow which some people will find sleeping with these to be very uncomfortable.
The gold standard for daki fabric is 2 Way Tricot. Which is a Knitted fabric that's made of about 80% Polyester and 10% Spandex. And is quite literally the same as Lycra (lycra is just a brand name anyway) in terms of material, it is however different from you shirts or shorts by the way its knitted. A Tricot knitting which is known for having a soft feeling to the touch and is commonly used for lining and in undergarments, because it has a smooth finish it's perfect for maintaining high quality prints as well. Thanks to its spandex component it stretches really well and allows the pillow to be much more malleable making it comfortable. The issue with tricot is that its already pretty pricey material, and normal tricot can only stretch in one direction, ie(left-right or up-down), which for some reason dakimakura manufacturers don't want, so they get a special much more pricier material that is the 2-way tricot.
The bigger issue is that when it comes to fabrics there is no set standards. When we purchase fabrics for manufacturing most of the time we have to request samples from every shortlisted factory. It won't be a surprise to see fabric from factory X be completely different to ones from factory Y despite being manufactured to the same specifications. And to stay on topic I've bought 3 pillows from the same shop (different times) and all of them had completely different 2wTC from each other. I was going to comment earlier but generally 2-wTC aren't as durable as peach skin due to the fact that its knitted but I've had some pillows with some real tough interlocking high density shit that will last.
that's a high quality felix, hooh baby
Is it bad that I actually want a body pillow now after watching this since I feel like I could sleep comfortably if I hug tight to it
Maybe I'm just lonely...

I could understand multiple covers.
Look at this monster with more than one waifu.
One for the bed, One for the couch, and one for the car!
TO BE FAIR, it seems like one of them is just the same wife (holo) but multiplied.

5 covers of Holo, 1 of Galil.
Wanted something different to break the Holo collection.
Might get something else later on or another Galil, can't not have enough rifle.
Look at this monster with more than one waifu.
yeah I can't even get one waifu pillow to cuddle with :suicide:

the realistic gun experience
I do not fear the one with 100 waifus, but I fear the one with 100 body pillows of a single waifu.
Y'all need ta find Jesus.
sadly i couldn't find any decent looking jesus dakimakuras
i'll keep looking though
By the way, how do these body pillows not make the individual hot and sweaty?
I know when I sleep with a normal pillow, my head gets really hot. Now I just opt to not sleep with a pillow at all.

I hope you don't sleep with Galil. It's dangerous to sleep with a gun in your bed.

Don't expect magic from these, however.
Just due to physics, if you have a hot room, you'll still have a hot pillow with these.
That was the best advertisement I've ever seen
sex bots will never recover from this

Realtalk though, a full length body pillow is amazing and after getting one it is my favorite pillow. It is so versatile in how you can support your head, legs, arms, whatever, in any way you can imagine. It's like the perfect pillow, and can be used in conjuction with a regular pillow for even more comfy configurations.

I'm actually curious, how do you explain this shit to people? Surely you have friends that come over. How do you explain these things, or any kind of serious anime memorabilia collection, to anybody you know who might happen to chance upon entering your room? Do you hide your dakis when friends are coming over? Or do you have no shame, and let them be there, out in the open? [sp]Or do your friends also have their own daki collections?[/sp]

otherwise my figures and CD's and posters and related stuff just stays out, if anyone asks it's a collector's hobby
[sp]also most of my friends have dakimakuras as well, a couple of them have like 800+ figures each[/sp]
(full disclosure: I have two, one which I lugged back from JP and another from ikea)
Can I get a Daki with Danny DeVito on it?
Can I get a Daki with Danny DeVito on it?
