Oh man, can't wait
Disappointed that they switched the main character from Kitty Pryde to Wolverine I mean hey, for once they could give another cast member a really important role, this was the perfect chance, but nope, let's just play safe instead of trying something new and make yet another "wolverine and friends" movie
hyped as fuck

It's Bryan Singer, ofcourse Wolverine would be the main focus.
It's gone be good.
pryde
Not sure Page could carry the whole movie, after seeing Prestige and Prisoners, I am convinced Jackman can. Execs might have considered the same thing.
Disappointed we didnt see much of the future world in the trailer, but I'm still pleased with this

Is this finally a direct continuation from X-MEN 3? Also most of that trailer music is from sunshine, damn its good.

Wolverine seems like the logical choice for this. They could send someone else, but really who does Professor X trust more?
Is this finally a direct continuation from X-MEN 3? Also most of that trailer music is from sunshine, damn its good.
Actually this movie makes X-men 3 not exist. Which is a glorious thing, as 3 was terribad.
Actually this movie makes X-men 3 not exist. Which is a glorious thing, as 3 was terribad.
How does it make 3 not exist?
It's not that it makes 3 not exist it just fixes the shit that 3 caused/made.
How does it make 3 not exist?
IIRC Xavier dies in the third one. He's not very dead in the trailer.
IIRC Xavier dies in the third one. He's not very dead in the trailer.

In a post-credits scene, Dr. Moira MacTaggert checks on a comatose patient who greets her with Xavier's voice. Startled, she replies, "Charles?"
[editline]29th October 2013[/editline] Granted that doesn't explain how he still looks like charles, unless he like, mind-tricks everyone.
Wasn't the patient Xaviers twin?
I'm not sure if it bothers anyone else but the cut at 1:24 seems too sudden. I loved First Class, so far the only X-men movie I'd recommend to other people and not warn them about some aspects of the film. Sure, it's not a perfect movie but I felt it was made with more craft than the others. I can't wait for this, that Charles meeting Charles scene is looking very nice.
Oh shit balls Bishop is in it!
Oh shit balls Bishop is in it!
He was in X-Men: First Class before Prometheus, so you should've been asking why Magneto was in Prometheus.
For me First Class didn't feel like a Wolverine and Friends movie.
The only one out of the four main X-men movies, not to mention Wolverine was also the only one to get not one, but two movies solely about him.
I am confused. Why must the send Wolverine in the past, whats such a big deal in the future? I mean from what I see, Xavier and Magneto are bros in the future so what else could be the problem?

It has.
How does it make 3 not exist?
[sp]The conditions that cause 3 never occur, and the death of Stryker pretty much eliminates anyone with the power to actively persecute mutants as Bolivar Trask isn't motivated by the assassination of ***** to create the Sentinel program in the first place. Stryker gets the funding he does because of this, so two huge anti-mutant events are literally removed from the timeline. And Jean going all PFBHGBTHJBKSBFKSJGBNKJSG is handled internally.[/sp]
chill
I wouldn't call being hunted by Nimrod and Sentinels or being interred in a concentration camp "chill" :v:
He was in X-Men: First Class before Prometheus, so you should've been asking why Magneto was in Prometheus.
Wrong Bishop, he was talking about this guy: [t]http://comicbook.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/bishop-x-men-days-of-future-past.jpg[/t]

Wolverine makes sense, considering he's been alive for well over a century. [editline]29th October 2013[/editline]
I am confused. They kinda went a little screwy and fucked up a lot of things. And by a lot of things i mean created a dystopian apocalyptic nazi future.
I'm really glad that X-Men is one of the very few comic movies that doesn't necessarily have a reboot past this.
I can kinda see this being used to have a semi-reboot but keeping the cast. The only things i know of that have a story-driven reboot that doesnt just shitcan the old continuity are any of the DC Reboots, the Star Trek reboot, and Mortal Kombat 9.
This may sound stupid but I'm a bit confused, what movie does this one come after? Is it 3? Cause I thought Xavier was dead and Magneto was no longer a mutant.
