For me First Class didn't feel like a Wolverine and Friends movie.
It's Bryan Singer, ofcourse Wolverine would be the main focus.

To be fair, judging from the trailer it looks like going into the past takes a really large toll on the one travelling to it. Wolverine seems like the logical choice for this. They could send someone else, but really who does Professor X trust more?

I'm not sure if it bothers anyone else but the cut at 1:24 seems too sudden.
I loved First Class, so far the only X-men movie I'd recommend to other people and not warn them about some aspects of the film. Sure, it's not a perfect movie but I felt it was made with more craft than the others. I can't wait for this, that Charles meeting Charles scene is looking very nice.

The only one out of the four main X-men movies, not to mention Wolverine was also the only one to get not one, but two movies solely about him.

I thought X2 was great, personally one of my favorite superhero movies (mostly because of that nightcrawler intro)

With the way the movie continuity in particular works, i cant see Pryde being the one to go back in time.
Wolverine makes sense, considering he's been alive for well over a century.

The story its based off of had mutants being hunted by giant mother fucker robots called Sentinels.
They kinda went a little screwy and fucked up a lot of things.
And by a lot of things i mean created a dystopian apocalyptic nazi future.
I'm really glad that X-Men is one of the very few comic movies that doesn't necessarily have a reboot past this.
I can kinda see this being used to have a semi-reboot but keeping the cast.
The only things i know of that have a story-driven reboot that doesnt just shitcan the old continuity are any of the DC Reboots, the Star Trek reboot, and Mortal Kombat 9.
This may sound stupid but I'm a bit confused, what movie does this one come after? Is it 3? Cause I thought Xavier was dead and Magneto was no longer a mutant.
