Nutters. "Sitting feet by feet/watching the big game."
Might be a satire group to make fun of "Do we really need the 2nd amendment" but if it isn't, well, at least we have the second amendment to protect the first :v:
Oh man, it's literally the Ban H2O thing that Penn and Teller did.

I mean, chances are, they probably just left over bits like "Remove First Amendment" but delete other possibilities people may have provided. Alternatively, of course, people are as usual, very easy to move with terminology. Still, I'm sure some of those signatures were just people in on a joke.
Something makes me doubt the legitimacy of the responses. Yale students are fucking nuts, especially the recent protestors, but this is just absurd. People know what the first amendment is. The responses seem canned, and lots of youtubers fake this kind of shit for views.
Am I in a horror movie?
50 signatures doesn't seem that much.

real life is the scariest movie of all because you can't turn it off
In response to the video title, yes we do... However this is a parody... that almost seemed real because whiny college kids are starting to want stuff that will not hurt their feeling, and will end up immediately smacked into the real world with no real life skills leaving the rest of us to do their work for them. Your Boss does not care if he hurt your feelings, in fact he might outright fire you because "your feelings" will be getting in the way of work.

Someone in my friend's PolySci class actually said that the constitution is entirely "Oppresive and Backwards", so I wouldn't be surprised if that individual would sign something like this.
This video is really just the equivalent of the "Americans are dumb" video where they ask people questions and cherry pick the 10 dumb people out of a pool of like over 100.
Really it is pretty sad that people actually agreed to this but he also didn't show us all of the people who said "no" or "that's a terrible idea".
This video was heavily edited to make it seem that students were wholeheartedly agreeing with the idea of repealing the 1st Amendment, when most of the students were either saying vaguely positive things to make the guy go away or agreeing with the idea of an alternative amendment. I'm currently a student here, and this is what students who appeared in the video are saying on Facebook.

You can clearly see the person in the second post at 1:05 about to say something else before the editing cuts him off, and similar things appear to happen to other people in the video. I really hate revealing personal information over the Internet, but I feel like someone had to clear things up.

They only stuck around one area of the campus for an hour though.

College student here. Feelings are overrated. Give me more coffee, and you can insult me all you want.
How did these stupid fucks actually get into Yale and they are this retarded? I guess at least it wasn't Harvard or something.

this make's me feel a little better but not much why don't they ball up and debate or just falt out say sorry no interested
I bet if you made a petition to "kill all blacks" you would find at least one dark skinned individual dumb enough to "sign" it
petitions don't really mean shit
50 signatures doesn't seem that much.
That was under 60 minutes.
This is very clearly edited for responses anyhow, and people who are trying to push the narrative that college students are really this fucking gullible need to really refine their methods.
I don't agree with the PC, safe space bullshit either, and I am heavily opposed to any attempts at censoring freedom of speech as people really don't understand just how important it is, but defamation like this is really the worst way to put that point across.

There's also a lot of shots of him just saying a buncha silly things like 'we should create safe spaces'/'making fun of people isn't cool'/'gotta stop those microaggressions!' while he's getting the signatures, with the obvious intent of making it look like the students wholeheartedly agree and aren't just nodding along for the time it takes them to sign the petition.
this make's me feel a little better but not much why don't they ball up and debate or just falt out say sorry no interested
Have you never been accosted by charity workers or people begging you to sign their petition before? If you just say no they keep trying to convince you to change your mind, if you act like you're on their side but can't give them money/sign the thing for whatever reason, they'll leave you alone much quicker.
With all of the other intentionally misleading bullshit, I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't really get that many signatures and it's all just a farce.
Edits all over the place, I think you'd see a lot of manipulation being pulled if his interactions were shown in full.
Although this is good info to know, and it now seems that the video maker is rather clearly skewing things here, I still find the idea of abolishing the first amendment to replace it with a replica now sporting "sensitivity" clauses to be fairly unnerving.

This is people being ignorant, not hating the first amendment.
