I like how through all the killing and dismemberment, [sp]Doomguy saves Vega before destroying all of his shit. Probably because that AI was the only thing he'd run into throughout the entire game that didn't try to kill him or didn't have some dangerous ulterior motive for helping him.[/sp]

I read somewhere in a dossier or one of those slayer testaments that more or less confirms that second part, not too sure about the first though.

when doomguy destroys the second argent generator, the uac robit begs you to stop. while he tries to tell you why not to destroy it, the doomguy pauses his foot waiting for a credible good argument. he doesnt hear one so he smashes it anyway

No they both got infected with some virus or something which makes you basically a good guy with super powers or a bad guy/demon with super powers.
