I posted this in two threads but it doesn't hurt to post it once more. Zelda U Gameplay. So I took some stuff from the video. Basically, this means the world is bigger than we thought. I thought the Beacon was closer, not miles away. And keep this in mind, this is the same location they said that they are about 4-5 minutes away from. Also the white arrow (that is highlighted in blue in the third picture) is what I assume Epona's mark is. And while remaking the images, I saw a clock and an icon of a house. I assume the clock is in-game time, and the house is a town. I like the realistic stuff going on, such as Horses dodging tree's, and apples growing.
Man, as awesome as it looks, I'm really not looking forward to playing on the Gamepad
seeing these two super japanese old dudes talk like the whitest orators from new england always cracks me up a bit it's just so awkward to dub in the emotions from what is supposed to be a candid moment
Man, as awesome as it looks, I'm really not looking forward to playing on the Gamepad
They'll probably have Pro Controller or w/e controller support like WWHD.
I hope that the dual hookshots are an item and they can be used for some just cause 2 like mobility.
They'll probably have Pro Controller or w/e controller support like WWHD.
Considering how integrated the Gamepad is to everything, I doubt that. But I can hope. It's just personal preference.
-snip- See OP.
Considering how integrated the Gamepad is to everything, I doubt that. But I can hope. It's just personal preference.
I doubt they will left it Gamepad only. Most first party games have both Gamepad and Pro Controller support.
You see that Tower? You can go there.
Better quality.
Watching it felt like a tech demo and that there isn't much done for it yet. And I hope the world is interesting. Otherwise the traveling would be Wind Waker all over again.
Man, as awesome as it looks, I'm really not looking forward to playing on the Gamepad
have you tried it? it's light and surprisingly effective at what it does of course there is also the pro or wii mote controllers game pad is honestly what makes me really enjoy the wii u since I can play it away from my screen / in bed' I wish they just made the pro controller have gyro's so I could aim with that like the gamepad, but not with this big thing in my hands

I thought this was going to be a joke video. Holy shit what, i had no idea about this game awards thing.
It's The Legend of Elder Scrolls not a bad thing in the slightest
Right, I updated my first post, added the Nintendo video which is in HD, and I added the images that I redone with better quality.
have you tried it? it's light and surprisingly effective at what it does of course there is also the pro or wii mote controllers game pad is honestly what makes me really enjoy the wii u since I can play it away from my screen / in bed' I wish they just made the pro controller have gyro's so I could aim with that like the gamepad, but not with this big thing in my hands
I've tried it with many agame. Once again, it's just personal preference, but I don't like how it feels.
It's The Legend of Elder Scrolls not a bad thing in the slightest
One of the Nintendo guys said he was playing Skyrim and was enjoying it very much. He also said that Skyrim would not influence the next Zelda game. Hehehe
You can definitely tell that it's not done, the graphics still look like they need heavy polishing (mostly things in the distance). Obviously the game isn't even close to being released, though. I'm excited. I hope that it'll be good!
looks fantastic
I see that Nintendo loves to keep the screen farther when their game isn't fully polished yet Hell they didn't even show Star Fox to the public besides one photo
One of the Nintendo guys said he was playing Skyrim and was enjoying it very much. He also said that Skyrim would not influence the next Zelda game. Hehehe
It seems like a lot of Japanese developers really enjoyed Skyrim and took influence from it, pretty sure the Xenoblade guys did too. As people learned with Skyrim though, world size is meaningless if it's all empty and useless. I'm sure they'd be aware of this, but it's still an easy trap to fall into and you could end up with half the map being unatmospheric, boring, and tedious.

But yeah it isn't done. They still have a year till release (If November is the release month like previous zelda games) so I assume we will be seeing more stuff later on.
I played all of Hyrule Warriors on the Gamepad screen while my GF enjoyed the nice big HDTV. Thats how much i liked the gamepad
Well, now I have a plan: I'll get a WiiU when I can get the special edition version for this game when it comes out. Because goddamn.
