Dutch man goes crazy, bombs police with molotov cocktail

The police were trying to remove his fence that he had for years due to the height of the fence. Guy goes crazy trying to defend it, grabs a crossbow and bow at the end. He's fleeing meanwhile, wish him luck. :v:

Dude is fucking ruthless. I love how fast those cops shoot out of his house!

Are they seriously going to use the top of a laundry basket to fend themselves? :v:
I lol'd at the hunting crossbow. What a badass.
Waist high fence must be a pretty big problem.
Proud to be Dutch.
This is fucking stupid, on both sides.
Haha, his wife left in advance, because she knew he'd overreact about the fence. Hahaha
not speaking dutch, the first video link seems so weird. the way they're just interviewing him as normal. i can't believe he has a partner too
what i find confusing is why the police haven't just gone and busted in there with a swat team or whatever. i know the whole situation with the fence n stuff is stupid but... wow he just set a policeman on fire wtf
police are afraid cos they usually look away from real criminals & danger and just fine the smaller crimes so yeah theyre not used to this stuff. Ive got a feeling theres a lot more coming soon.
As he came out in that vest with the molotov, the first thing that popped into my head was "Tunnel Snakes rule!"
I like your crazy people, they're more creative than ours.
Wait a minute how did they interview him during all of this

More importantly, why didn't the cops sack him to the ground while he was distracted?
I live in that same province
Makes me proud to live in the Netherlands
what's he saying in the interview?

"The property, as far towards the public road, (which is) six and a half meters from the frontage, is mine. We've got proof of the "Offices of land property" send to us."
Also at the end they said that he ran off.
That looks like just a regular recurve bow to me. Questions aside, what is the regular procedure for dealing with this in the Netherlands? Were the cops trying to just let him vent so that he would just come peacefully?
The Dutch Police just showed what they are good at: Running away.
haha that is awesome
love how one minute he's throwing fire everywhere near the police and walking on his balcony with a bow and the other minute talking reasonable with the reporter about why the fence is on his property
Apparantly the guy surrendered after the police fired a warning shot, at least that is what I saw on the news this morning.
Still pretty interesting to see how much of a problem that fence can cause in this country.
Guy looks like James Hetfield
Reminds me of

Dude got captured today. I find it funny how he managed to escape in the first place, especially since there were cops all over the place. I would go as crazy as him also if it was about something as silly as a fence being too tall.
this is why we went to europe in ww2 to free them and now this is happening.

I know right XD. But a few years ago they checked to see if they should switch to the plastic ones. Turned out those were far less resistant.

This happens far more often in the US than in this country.
Your comment is gravely nationalistic.
Those silly Dutch people.
Makes it slightly more interesting to live there, I suppose.
That guy would have been shot dead in seconds here in America.
