They should have made it so you had to actually walk around to catch Pokemon. :/
I haven't found any cool games where you actually have to move. Only Foursquare... kinda.

Got 21 so far, but it gets boring really fast.
Do pokemon appear only in areas that pokemon regions are based on, or do they appear everywhere?

It's kinda cool, like you can find the starter pokemon (which are rarer) by going to famous locations. Like all the fire type starter pokemon (Except charmander + evolutions) at famous volcanoes around the world. It's pretty dull though, should've made it more like Ingress
Not sure how this works. So far it seems like there's only pokemon on a Mexican island and iI don't actually have to travel like ingress?
