No idea what I just watched, but it was rad as shit
And they pick the slowest corvette ever to go against a lamborghini. It's reminiscent of 80s music too so why pick a 70s car for a hero car.

give me more
Yep, that's fucking Carpenter Brut alright.
This is the reason he's my favorite music artist.
I love crosses visually, I don't even care about the religious connotations it's just looks so cool.
Can't view the video because of GEMA but I guess it's different to

Maybe I heard the wrong songs but ever since Hotline Miami 2 I feel like Carpenter Brut has a very same-y format to his songs.
Nevermind found a poxy.
Awsome video.

it makes sense when you consider the very strong late 70's/early 80's giallo influences in Brut's imagery, music videos, and some of his tracks (mostly on EP I)

hence all the sexually-charged grotesque occult imagery
I fucking love Carpenter Brut.
Jesus i love the visuals of this video. No idea what that was about but that was just pure eye candy

Agreed to an extent, but I fucking love his format, so I guess it doesn't really bother me.
It really is nice to see just how much attention his work has gotten since HLM2 though. Really, HLM in general was just a win win for pretty much every side. Awesome devs get money to make more awesome games, the HLM games are insanely good and loved by lots of people, and the artists that contributed tracks for the games get great promotion.
nice, 80s camp without a single stupid 80s movie reference. I like how they kept it original, but the editing could have been a little more oldschool. It could have really looked amazing if some of the cgi had more of an 'old practical effects' aesthetic. But it was just fine the way they made it, even if it could have been more genuinely artistic. Music was okay I guess, CB have little variety but there's not really anything that can be done about that. Within that particular sub-genre and in that particular style, there's not much to explore anyway
Carpenter Brut is great and this is great.
Hotline Miami is a great way to get turned on to some excellent music, like Carpenter Brut and Perturbator.
Wow, I always thought Carpenter Brut was just a small time indie musician. I'm surprised he put together such a high quality music video like this.

There's a shortfilm in the works using Escape from Midwich Valley that's based on Town of Innsmouth.
That was pretty amazing. Guy in youtube comments posted a link for some 2K image stills:

As a diehard carpenter brut fan, this obliterated my expectations for the video, which were already quite high.

Cause the Stingray is the coolest Corvette ever, that's why.
Carpenter Brut is awesome and I am glad I found people like him and Perturbator to open the doors to synthwave for me.
For those who don't know about him, here is another awesome video of his stuff.
