Looks a hell alot better than the darksouls 1 fps mod, Still you'd gimp yourself.
Would be nice watching a playthrough like this though.
It's like King's Field.
That's definitely not something I expected to see Cheat Engine do

cheat engines a lot more powerful than you'd think actually
it just needs a smart enough mind to work it
if something has a number on it and you can find that number, you can make a script to work with X thing.
I was half expecting chivalry screaming
That looks completely unplayable.
You know what FROM made before the Souls series right?

I mean, not to say that a first time player would be able to pick this up, but if you have a clue what you're doing already with rolling etc. I doubt there will be much issue using this mod.

That was a game with first person designed in mind though. There aren't as many enemies, they move slower and attack slower. Imagine trying to fight the ruin sentinels with this. It'd be impossible.

The only thing I ever learnt how to do with CheatEngine was change the amount of things in games, like money, mana, XP, level.
Oh and let's not forget faking 9,999 billion Runescape gp
ah those were the days
It's kind of like Chivalry: Medieval warfare

My point is that in the souls series (not Kings Field which is a different series so your argument makes zero sense) it very much helps to see your character.
You'll have a much easier time dodging and shit.

I never said it wouldn't be harder, I just said it would still be playable. My comparison to King's Field lies in the fact that the game still functions on a similar gameplay loop - see enemies, bait out their attacks, dodge them, counter attack, repeat until they die. Be careful, watch your surroundings, and don't aggro the world because if you pull the attention of 5 enemies you're screwed. I'm saying that this style of game has been proven to work in first person before - it's weird for sure - but it can still work.
Looks really cool. Moving around and stuff looks do-able, but the combat is a different story. I don't think I could seriously play it in first person, but it would be excellent for getting a close up look at everything.
It's interesting how the way you look at the levels changes in first person. The world is built completely differently to how it would be. To me it looks a lot more boxy and undetailed.
Aw man, I was expecting a mod that'd tie the camera position to the player's head bone and shrink it down.
