Watching this live I liked how they made you think it's a walking simulator, but then they're like "yeah we also made painkiller and bulletstorm lol" and then there's a bunch of sweet-ass gunplay.
Shame the thumbnail gives it away though.
Ethan Carter was a pretty boring walking sim IMO, but I'm pretty dang interested in this
put together some halfway decent atmospheric exploration and heavy, consequential-feeling shooter combat and i think you have yourself a pretty decent idea for a game

yeah but it was a looker, combine with some good gunplay devs, could be interesting.
If it's an expansion of Painkillers grimdark artstyle, coupled with the incredibly satisfying combat of both Painkiller and Bulletstorm, this is going to be a winner for me.
This game gives me Darkwatch vibes like crazy
god i love dashing mechanics in video games, even just adding that onto Painkiller looks pretty sick
You couldn't have put three better devs together for a game like this.

After seeing it being worked on by painkiller and bulletstorm devs, I was hope to see a grappling hook gun for combos.

Well apparently the person that co-wrote, designed, and directed the original Painkiller and its expansion is the person behind this (along with the other 2 co-founders of People Can Fly), so yea i'd say it's pretty likely.
