Isn't this game like, 2 years old
I am just finishing the upload of the second part of the video. [editline]20th January 2012[/editline] The Second Part To My Tutorial Is Now Up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ijaTTQvAKg
Isn't this game like, 2 years old
what does it matter
Wasn't this game supposedly terrible?
Wasn't this game supposedly terrible?
Compared to the first? Yeah, but if you act like this game wasn't apart of the series then it all of a sudden becomes a fun classic styled RTS.
I hated it. All the units seemed plastic and empty inside. They had no weight. Felt like playing with toys.
I'll be honest, I would have stopped playing this game like a week after getting it if it wasn't for my friends constantly playing. It took like 3 months of straight play for me to finally get bored. It also doesn't help that by the time I left the game was dieing.
Your strategy is horrible. This wouldn't work if you played against an actual person.
I remember this game, and how much it sucked in comparison to it's predecessor. [editline]21st January 2012[/editline]
Your strategy is horrible. Just get a good solid defensive perimeter around your base and you'll be fine. In both of the games, I found the UEF to be really effective when it comes to turtling, the experimental artillery cannons really help.

A wave of gunships would take all of that out. If you want to "turtle", Cybran magnets surrounded by layers of point defense, shields and AA would do a much better job. In the meantime you develop a large army of bomb bouncers and you walk your ass into the enemy base. It isn't that difficult. Also, Total Annihilation > Supreme Commander 1 and 2.
