I've always thought that the Game Theory guy was a piece of crap, and this pretty much confirms it. Ever since I watched his "Sonic doesn't move at the speed of sound" video his videos have gotten more and more far-fetched and his logic more and more terrible.

But the speed of sound one was interesting to me. It's obvious he doesn't move that fast in the games, but to know his actual speed is still pretty cool.

I would love to think that, but it comes off as way too serious and his audience takes it seriously. Some of my friends watch this shit and they often tell me "facts" about characters that they learned from game theory, like Pyro being "confirmed female" and Mario's mental disabilities (which I could not believe was an actual thing he came up with but apparently it is!).
The only good gametheory video was the one on PDP, because it had nothing to do with games.

i think that was a joke
makes me fell like I could do a better job, which is not the intent. With Vsauce I sometimes know a hook that wasn't mentioned and in my opinion might be mentioned, but it doesn't make me feel like I should do my own version of his clips which he dose fantastically.
What I'm trying to say is that I put game theory on the polar opposite to Vsauce (1-3) in a scale that sways between what gives me reason to be creative.
This video games "Game Theory" as a study look bad.
