From an empty flat overlooking the shattered remains of eastern Ukraine's biggest airport, Givi is leading an all-out assault against the last government outpost in the main pro-Russian stronghold.
The series follows the all out assault from Commander Givi's batallion. Some great shots of them firing that cannon at the ATC tower. Great to see some female soldiers fighting with them too.
Jesus christ Givi sounds and looks like a crackhead.
Does the Ukrainian Military not have footage like these?
The shot that hit the tower was insane.
Would be nice if the subtitles were a bit slower. Some of the huge ass translation notes are only displayed for like 0.5 seconds.
lol was he arguing with the ukranian colonel on a fucking mobile. wow what an age we live in
Yeah this is absolutely nothing like I imagined it.
But brutally real and breathtaking. I wish it wasn't happening, though.
so these guys are the pro russian rebels?
I check out the channel this is on, bunch of these and, about a year ago, a bunch of Arma 3 videos.
Great footage.

Dunno how well learned he is (he's said some derpy things on occasion) but he's a determined man. That makes him dangerous, he has an ideology and mission. He wasn't sent out as a conscript who doesn't really wanna be there.

Apparently he's so popular you can give him a ring now lol

Givi is an interesting character. He may not be militarily well taught - but I would assume he has been through some prior military service as is common with many people of his age in that part of the world. But he strikes me less of an officer, more of a thug. He has more drive and enthusiasm than anything else and that is why I think his troops seem to quite like him. Perhaps it is the no bullshit approach that he has on camera that also may extend off camera that is appreciated by his subordinates.
Or maybe this is all a clever show put up by the Novorossiya PR department. It will take us some time to find out.
Either way, I hope Givi and all his guys make it out OK. The fighting must end soon.

Said he served as a conscript 1998-2000 in a tank platoon and commanded and used various models of tank.
