Add a Bond theme to that and you have you're next intro to a Bond flick.
Now someone has to be crazy enough to fly through the back of a helicopter.
I'd be so worried about overshooting and ending up in the prop, I'd never even think about doing something like this.

I thought this was like a mid-air collision tragedy judging by the title, not them actually with the plane and just flying in the door holy fuck

props aren't like turbine blades, you can't really get sucked into them

you can absolutely be sucked into a plane's propeller, if you are standing too close to the rear of it
But they approach from the rear, they were never in danger of being sucked into anything right?

A is where they approached. B is the Danger Zone where you can potentially be sucked into the prop. If their trajectory had been just barely off, they easily could have been killed, as well as disabling the prop on the plane.
Approaching the prop of a plane from the rear, especially mid-air whilst gliding, runs the risk of being sucked in front of it or being pulled into the back of it.
wait, why would a prop cause suction behind it.
Rotors create downwash, turbines suck things from the front, all other spinning aircraft surfaces create suction in the front and thrust at the rear.
