The title is a parody of the response to youtube user's reponse to the monetization problems, by the way- the rest of the video is classic Jim Sterling snark about the whole scenario.

Google has tons of money to spend on lawyers and yet they tend not to fight, because even for them it would be a losing fight. Also this is officially the last video of his I watch as he once again is fucking some toys on camera.

There's no legal battle to fight, it's just Google (presumably) bending over to advertisers just like they bend over to copyright holders with their expedited DMCA takedown process and other shit they aren't required to have by law, but do anyway.
OK it's a similar issue. Google could stand up to advertisers and then... Die. This would be an issue for competitors too. Their DMCA system is due to the scale they operate at. They cannot have a manual review process.

They're basically ingrained in modern society.
