For all you writers out there.
That... thats just mean.
Had to look up what Chekov's gun is :v:
[sp] I was expecting it to fire [/sp]
Those sneaky bastards. I glad I knew the term beforehand.
There is no flint in the lock. It would not fire if it was loaded and the trigger was pulled.

Who cares? It's a comedy video, not a serious look into an antique flintlock pistol.

Act III
Oh goddamnit. I haven't been this disappointed since Star Trek: Into Darkness.
Just wait until they release their next video. Then it will fire.
I thought for sure at the end of the credits that they'd just have a 3 second snippet of where he shoots the appraiser while staring into the camera or something

The twist is the gun will catch on fire.
And still not fire.

I have an interest in old guns. Sorry for pointing out one of the first things I noticed.

If you look closely you can see that the guy on the left if wearing a bald cap and if you take a step back you can also see that it is a comedy sketch. Took me a couple hours to figure it out too though it's ok

No, but he did state something that was pretty much irrelevant. I noticed it as well, but didn't think the declaration of this discovery would provide any use to any of you.

[sp] You're on Facepunch [/sp]
if people didn't get the name reference chekhov was a writer and the term chekhov's gun is basically the idea that if you write something into a story it has to have a purpose, the example he used which coined the phrase is that if you were writing and during the description of a particular room you mention a rifle hanging on the wall, the rifle has to be relevant within the next few chapters or just don't mention it

god f'in damnit i agree i hate it when they don't use props that are 100% accurate just like those f'in reporters who call every gun an ak47!!! gosh i wish everyone would understand the difference between clips and magazines and comprehend that a 556 is not equivalent to a 7.66!!

GEEZE

SHEESH! whole vid is RUINED
disappointing, i thought the knife or the drum would play a role at the end of the video

or steve would just murder them all
I was kinda hoping that they'd put chekhov's gun down and go appraise some other items, and then they'd have to use it to solve a situation
that'd be the true chekhov's gun
still funny though.
They need more views, all of the stuff on their channel is great.
