WE'RE BREAKING THE CONDITIONING, RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-
I think the long con of most of these twits is a free space-travel ticket because they won't listen to reason until you actually take them up there, point at the earth and say "Look, it's a sphere you dense motherfucker".
The only way to make this entertaining and "worth it" is to televise the whole thing and make them commit to some humiliating bet before getting proven wrong.
That'd be quite amazing, actually.
I want a certificate from the Flat Earth Society, do they just hand those out to people who say they believe them>
gonna be honest: as much as flat earth seems stupid, i still think it is a compelling theory despite its obvious flaws. a flat earth if im being honest does sound really neat and cool, but due to the sheer stigma around it on believing it, the flaws in the theory, and the mental health and amount of sanity of some of the people who back this theory, i doubt ill be invested in it anytime soon
There is no fucking stigma around the flat Earth theory. We have known that the Earth was anything but flat since the times of ancient-motherfucking-Greece. If the Earth were to be flat, then throw the big book of physics, carefully assembled over centuries of R&D, into a pyre because a flat Earth means that reality itself doesn't works like we think it does
The Sun alone it's nearly one hundred Earths-long in diameter. That's only the diameter. If you want to throw mass into the equation, this number jumps to over three hundred thousand Earths.
And they want to believe that 99% of the Solar System's mass is hanging around at just about the same altitude as the moon, has pretty much the same size (Which, if true, would make the heat the least of our troubles, since you do know what happens when you take a mass that big and cram it into something as tiny as the Moon), and is affected by a superior force that we haven't detected yet that allows the Sun to "move" in a neat circle above Earth and only illuminate a small piece of the planet's surface.
I repeat myself. There is no fucking stigma around the flat Earth theory. Flat Earth "theorists" are simply morons. There is a difference

From what I've heard, most people who believe in a flat earth are extremely stubborn when people try to share viewpoints. It's one of those scenarios where one side refuses to reach a middle ground, so the other side just decides to laugh at them instead and no progress is made.

It's kind of hard to find a middle ground on something binary like that. Either it's flat or it isn't, and for the overwhelming majority of people, there's one clear answer.
This ignoring that the Earth objectively isn't flat.
There is no progress to be made. Because that would imply that the flat Earth "theory" is actually valid, and that even if it were wrong we can learn something valuable from it.
The Earth is not flat. If it were, we wouldn't be alive on this rock, in the first place
There is no big conspiracy keeping people in the dark for...for whatever reasons they might have. Reptillians, maybe
There is no giant wall of ice keeping the oceans away from...falling into an eternal abyss, maybe.
There are simply idiots who want to believe that all of this is real

They'd probably go "These aren't real windows, they're TVs meant to trick me. Here, let me open the airlock and prove it!"

Why would it be cool? The only reason that our satellites work is because the earth isn't flat.
flat earth memes are my favorite kind of memes

This video has some cool visualisations too
Flat earth earthes are fucking stupid. Anyone that is a bit smart knows for a fact that earth doesn't exist at all and it's simply a fake projection by aliens on their base on the moon to make sure we live in a fantasy world to not make an uprising against them.
Wake up you brainwashed idiots
Hollow cube earth is probably the most accurate model for our current reality (this level of vibration) that Big Science and the (((MSM))) don't want you to see!!
The earth is round.
Like a pizza.
Part of the problem is that once people have invested into this mindset and made it a part of their character, they consider it an even bigger stunt to their ego to back away and admit being wrong.
What mental illness causes people to believe the earth is flat? Were they just taught by their paranoid parents or is it part of that drive to rebel against the norms of education? Seriously, where does this come from. Youtube comments make it feel like there are LOTS of people who believe this.
I don't understand
If gravity is fake, then whats stopping you from floating away from your flat plane?
Everybody knows gravity is caused by the g forces generated by earth rotating around the glass orb in the sky.

I'm willing to bet a small part of it is being contrarian for the sake of it.

This. A lot of people thrive on convincing themselves that they know something that everyone else doesn't, or that they know the "truth" and that everyone else is dumb.

Until you can tear and burn the bible to

for your educated stupid brain to know that

Universe, the Earth and all humans are
composed of + 0 - antipodes, and equal
to nothing if added as a ONE or Entity.
All Creation occurs between Opposites.
Academic ONEism destroys +0- brain.

People can't comprehend the universe is chaotic and random. There has to be a reason for everything.
