I can't imagine how relieving it would be to have all of that removed
Now I want a teeny tiny vacuum cleaner for my ears.

It hurts like a bitch, I had a blockage removed when I was younger and they used a water stream, I cant imagine how it felt to have a piece of metal scraping around an extremely irritated and sensitive part of your body.

Some people just get their ears cleaned because they want to, and they say it's a really good feeling. Just because your removal had medical reasons doesn't mean every removal is painful.
I had it done just a few months ago because I got sick.
It's not particularly painful, just really weird feeling.
Had this when I got a really strange ear blockage that wouldn't go down, causing loss of hearing.
It was really weird feeling, painful at times (probably cuz he'd touch the inflamed parts), but pretty crazy feeling too.

I've had an ear syringed twice now and it didn't hurt much either time. It was like like a drill blasting warm water deep into my ear to max wax come out. The relief afterwards is great, although everything is loud for a few days until the right amount of wax returns.
I probably need this done to me...
I don't know what that guy up top was bitching about, getting the warm water stream thing in your ear is fucking amazing. After I got my shit removed I was like, 'uh, the other one is kinda blocked too'. I love it.
I can relate to the guy saying it was painful, maybe we both had shit doctors. Happened several years back, I had no warm water stream thing happen in my ears, just a painful ass metal thing in my ear. Felt like the fucker was poking my eardrum. Kept telling me to sit still but I was like what the fuck dude? Wish I never had to go through with it but was forced to by my grandparents. Was pretty upset about the whole ordeal for a while.
I had ear wax blockage when I was a kid. Hurt like fuck. Having it removed was the best feeling ever.

The warm water thing is 500000000000 times safer.

I have to get mine cleaned like this (water jet) every year...I have some hyperactive wax glands or something
The annoying part is, they make you soften the wax up 5 days prior with some kind of oil based liquid. So you walk around deaf, with bits of toilet paper sticking out your ears for almost a week :v:
Worth it, though
I use these to get wax out if there are excessive amounts.

I smother it in alcohol beforehand, so it's somewhat sterile. Does a great job, but you gotta be careful to not go too deep. That shit stings.
It kind of reminded me of this....which apparantly is also in the related:

I used the eraser end of a pencil one time and got a glob of wax out as big as a penny. I could hear really good out of my right ear for about a month. It was weird.
when i was 6 or 7 i stuck a pencil in my ear because i thought it'd go out the other end
now i have tinnitus
Hey, I have it too!
Tinnitus Buddies!
Also I genetically have issues with wax build up. Once every year i get my ears cleaned out, its isn't so bad.

Don't do this.
So that's how my ears looked like when they had to flush out a shitmetric ton of wax with a water spraying object a few weeks ago
:suicide:

When they did it on me it fucking stung like shit in my eyes and my inner ear nerves for some fucked up reason even THEY couldn't comprehend
The one with worms in nose is the best one anyway.

I used that and a paperclip before. Using a paperclip actually runs the risk of scraping up the insides of your canal, and even if you don't destroy your ear drum, you'll start getting scabs. Also, blood, plenty of blood. Worst feeling in the world it is to have a trail of blood just trickling down the sides of your head. It's like when the beach water finally comes bursting forth like some sort of slobbery ear cough.

That's why I'm always very careful when I do it and I make sure that there are no sharp edges or shards on the pin.
Trust me, I'm a professional.

I didn't even know this was such a problem with everyone, my ears are always clean, once a week i stick a cotton swab in there and clean up everything before it builds up.
I should probably get one of those hot water treatments. Think there's quite an amount of wax stuck in my ears.
What the... sticking metal objects into your ear can't be good.
You're supposed to use a plastic-tipped syringe with hot water!

All hail, the lord of ears!
