I have an idea.
There's a lot of Craigslist "for parts" cars with perfectly nice interiors.
Replace the steering wheel in a really cheap car, install all the other bells and whistles in place of the real funcitonal car parts, and put screens on the front and side windows. Then complete it with a bassy sound system to rattle you a little as if there was a real motor there.
It would be so cool to see that simulator.
