Hopefully the Titans will end up breaking the need to use doomstacks, though there's always the risk that making Titan stacks will become the new thing. In either case, huge ships are gonna be fun to use.

In either case, huge ships are gonna be fun to use.[/QUOTE] You can only build a titan when you reach a fleet capacity or strength of 200 or so and to get another one you have to reach another 200 capacity or strength and so on and so on. So you can't just spam them like regular ships. They explained it in the dev dairies and also you need to get a certain ascendency perk to unlock them like with the colossus. And I imagine that by themselves they'll can probably get taken out fairly easily by a large enough fleet.
