It's actually useful if your school gives Ipads to it's students. Like mine does because they got a fuck load of money somehow.

man apparently Canadian schools are poor as fuck we don't have shit past like the 1990s.
the computers are updated to like 2006 but that's about it.
Highschools all over texas are providiing student, for a fee of course, access to take-home iPad 2s. Textbooks come pre-loaded and everything. And since it's a school, they dont buy them from apple for $450. They buy it for about 5% more than manufacturing it.

Actually, Apple requires the price of any textbook to be no more than $15, which is much cheaper than a physical textbook.

While that's probably true, the tablet is still 450 fucking dollars and even more in some places. Plus if you need multiple textbooks you probably will need more space, which means an even more expensive ipad

I don't really like reading stuff on a computer screen for a longer period of time. E-ink is better, but then you lack all the cool stuff.
