I thought lifehacks were meant to be convenient and the fact he has to use a fan in the build defeats the whole purpose.

why can't i just use the fan itself?

as long as you have airflow in the room it wouldn't really be lethal or anything. if the holes were lower in the bucket they would put the air out lower, and CO2 is denser than air anyways so it would just stick to the floor, and airflow would take most of it out of the room pretty quickly anyways

[editline].[/editline] What he made in the video is just a homemade swamp cooler, but you are supposed to use foam cooler inserts for 5 gallon buckets and gallon jugs of ice. They work well but if you use them for a long time the room can get pretty gross (humid, and mold can even start growing).

unless you have the bucket absolutely full of dry ice and the room sealed i don't think this will do much damage to you

This will kill people.
