Let me sum it up:
"I wasted a bunch of time on 4chan and then left, so you should leave 4chan too"
I'm pretty sure this wasn't worth making a video about, honestly.
Personally I found the video extremely insightful.
Also some of the issues he brings up are fixable.
Make a connection with somebody and want to be friends? Share Steam accounts or whatever. I've done that a couple times.
Thread gets derailed over some stupid shit? Wait a day and it'll be back on topic or a new one would have been started.
And his overall problems with the site sounds like he wants a completely different image board. This is why I come to Facepunch. I get a lot of stuff 4chan can't do and I get much better discussion than I usually get on 4chan. I still go to 4chan and enjoy it, but I have other places to go as well.
The guy brings up good points, but they are so damn easy to fix with a solution other than "well just don't go on 4chan"

ALSO if you spend every day on 4chan/anyotherimageboard like this guy claims people do, then the issue is not with the site, it's with the person. If you can't convince yourself to close the webbrowser and go watch anime or play a video game, then you got some series issues.
I like this guy and his videos, he goes into some cool shit. He has some good reasoning here, but it obviously doesn't apply to everyone (nor does he actually say that everyone else must also leave 4chan, iirc; haven't watched this one in a long time).

I've come to know people who were channers and they had 100K salary.
Also a counter example to the video is that I've seen some campaigns that show parts of 4chan give a damn about the world. vivian james was the best most recent example, but there are others. But yes there are people in 4chan that hate everything.

If its worse or not depends entirely on the sections that you browse. You can totes use the same argument for vidya and anime too though.

No, it's an example he brings up. He said there are people on the anime board there who spend way more time on 4chan than actually watching anime.
4chan is bad for you if you actually interact with any of the chump losers on there and take what they say seriously.
Ya know - just like every other forum on the internet. People on the internet are toxic. 4chan isn't special.
