for you and for anyone else who is misinformed, there are downsides to the magnum, actually i don't know if there are any advantages to it apart from being lighter and faster firing speed than the handcannon.
it overall has less penetration, damage, rounds and reloads slower than the handcannon. oh and it barely costs any dosh more.
any good sharpshooter should be using the lever action rifle anyways (unless youre playing on anything above hard then you use the m14) so i don't know the point in actually using the handcannon or the magnum unless you're out of ammo for both your lever action and m14 (or playing on a low difficulty).

that said i hope they make it better than the handcannon because it is a damn sexy gun
