With a C-130 :v:
now try and take off.
I used to do this sort of thing all the time in FSX, without the same level of success though :(
Oh wow. That's pretty cool!
thanks [editline]24th February 2012[/editline]
now try and take off.
Tried to take off but the plane just stalled and dropped into the sea when i reached the end of the runway :v:
I wan't X-Plane 10 so much!
Ugh, this reminds me of playing microsoft flight simulator as a kid.
Oh my god, someone playing fsx, on decent settings, at more than 10 fps???? what is this wizardry? Also, respect for the CaptainSim C-130.
What airport is that? I wanna try this Nevermind saw it in the description
What airport is that? [editline]25th February 2012[/editline]
I wan't X-Plane 10 so much!
I heard it's not that good for 80$. The plane physics are a bit more realistic in X-Plane 10 though.
I don't even know how to fly a plane in this game :l
I don't even know how to fly a plane in this game :l
5 years ago I couldn't fly either, I learned through trial and error. If you have a joystick, it shouldn't take too long to learn.
Jesus, what was he flying with, a fuckin keyboard. Maximum inputs, no finesse at all, And you hit at about -550 feet per minute. That's quicker than an actual approach should be, Much less a landing At least you got it stopped, and it's nice to see someone else running the Captain Sim C-130
Oh wow, I thought this wasn't anything spectacular, because I thought it was a teeny tiny plane, but when I saw that it was huge as shit, the video became more spectacular.
Hey don't under estimate the C-130's. They're STOL aircraft, hell they can even Land and Launch off an aircraft carrier (And have before)
Instantly reminded me of: Seriously though, nice job.
Well that didn't look very believible

Also, I think you might have taken this video a little too seriously :v: [editline]25th February 2012[/editline]
Well that didn't look very believible
Hah yeah, like I said in the video description, this isn't shouldn't be possible IRL. Not all that impressive compared to this:
You're landing in Twin Otter territory!
You're landing in Twin Otter territory!
twin otter is for scrubs, real ~mlg pr0z~ like me use the hercules
Now land on a carrier. In DCS A-10C, trust me, you'll have a good time doing that.
