So it turns out this image:

really was from the game.
To be honest, the game actually looks better from a graphical standpoint than any other COD. It also seems to have a better colour palette (not unsaturated and brown) and it seems to be different in terms of storyline as well. Of course, I'm going to wait until gameplay before any monetary decisions are made.
One thing caught my eye greatly.
Sledge Hammer Games.
Is this a Call of Duty not by Treyarch nor IF?
Ugh. Can't they just go back to WW2 or something? Those games were much better.
Ok I checked. They co worked with IF on MW3, and also co worked with the guys who made Dead Space.
Call of Duty Black Ops II: 2 starring Kevin Spacey

Sledge Hammer helped make the multiplayer of MW3 and Ghosts. So there's no telling whether this will be good like the Treyarch games or if Infinity Ward's toxic attitude has rubbed off on them.
It looks pretty cool but I'll and wait and see because Ghosts was somewhat promising with its trailers and it was garbage.
Also this is on Xbox One? This has to be the first 1080p third party title :v:
That little thing that they set up like a volleyball net at 1:49 is such a neat idea.
Also, is it just me or do the bad guys tend to look cooler than the good guys in CoD games?
Idk it looks cool but chances are the game's graphics are gonna look worse in the released game and multiplayer is gonna be an unbalanced Turd Throwing Competition
If the singleplayer is good though i might consider playing it, but if it's no where near as good as Blops then there's not a chance i'll play it
It actually looking pretty interesting for a cod game, always loved sci-fi shit like this in games.
but we all know the SP is going to turn out to be 5 or 6 hours long.

This genuinely is impressive
I like the music, I wonder who is composing it this time around.
Also I wonder what decade this is supposed to take place in, 2050s I'm guessing?
Call of DEMOCRACY DEMOCRACY DEMOCRACY
I'm a sucker for future stuff like this. I think Sledgehammer games can make something out of this.
Call of Duty "House of Cards" edition...
I'm not really stoked about the trailer graphics, since we all know how stuff would be 'lowered' to fit all platform requirements, but...
... more evidence pls.

How long until it gets bullshot?
Let's see how this turn outs, it's just the fact Activision is behind this makes hard to have faith. I can't say much of trailers, the idea is to look good.
I am finally glad to see that they are being creative with the design of things instead of brushing up existing weapons and vehicles to look "futuristic". Now lets see if they can be creative with the gameplay.
Guess they had to force their hand due to the leak eh?
Also as I said in the other thread, Crysis 2 already has the "arcade shooter with power suits" gimmick done.
Political discourse in a CoD game? Colour me interested
Ugh. Can't they just go back to WW2 or something? Those games were much better.
While I hate CoD and all, WW2 genre got whored to death as much as Zombie genre is getting whored now.
I don't think I can play a WW2 game ever again, I got so piss tired of that era after dozens and dozens and dozens of games about it.
Anyway, I hate CoD but I might play this SP someday if I can get it cheap. Power suits are always fun.
It LOOKS good, but I'm reserving judgement until we get a gameplay trailer.
[sp]Oh god please be good[/sp]
Leave it to Call of Duty to provide not one glimpse of the gameplay. I'm sure there would be less hype if they actually showed a little more than the cutscenes.
Don't get me wrong, graphics are a good aspect of a video game, but this was essentially a gigantic cutscene that I don't care about. I have this same problem with other game trailers that are formatted like this but Call of Duty does a great deal of this.

At least it's not live action.
But you really know what else sucks? I want a good Call of Duty game. I've had plenty of fun with Call of Duty: Black Ops II despite it's long list of flaws. I'm happy that there's another company taking on the franchise, but I have a hard time being optimistic after Ghosts and MW3.
Ugh. Can't they just go back to WW2 or something? Those games were much better.
You want them to stop beating the dead hose, and dig up the buried one. Okay.

gonna be honest when watching the trailer i was confused when call of duty became crysis both in terms of graphics and gameplay :v:
admittedly I haven't played a call of duty game in a decent while but what the hell is going on there
I've got no qualms with it being in the future, past or anything. I just want it to be fun.
I'd say it looks like it could be a pretty good game, but I've said that about every call of duty and I've been wrong every time.

The model itself seems alright except CoD has a really bad time with animating faces.
Everything is bullshot to hell and back.
Don't expect the game to look this good when it comes out, especially on Xbox one/PS4.

The only engine I've seen that does nice, smooth facial animations that feel genuinely fleshy is Source. If there are others out there I'd love to see them, but in my gaming experience that's the only one that seems to do people justice
