Hot damn, that looked great.
I hope that AI partner thing we saw was a optional or difficulty related thing.
Looks tight, can't wait to get my hands on it

Seemed like it was a specific character.
Aw fuck yes.
Nice to see they aren't toning down the violence holy shit.
Loving the music

That'd be Carpenter Brut, definitely my favourite outrun/synthwave/dreamwave/new retro wave/whatever the fuck we're calling this genre now artist.
Hope he has more songs on the soundtrack.
That part when he walks down the hallway with the sub machine guns has resulted in me passing out because all the blood rushed to my dick.
Holy shit, is that snake mask fat guy the same guy you found dead in Hot & Heavy? Also a playable russian mobster character and AK-47's? Fuck yes.
I'm hyped to death, holy shit.

Just stick with 80's synth.
When am I gonna get to play it?
Just stick with 80's synth.
Everything in the first game was Synthwave and so is Carpenter Brut?
Holy shit, is that snake mask fat guy the same guy you found dead in Hot & Heavy?
If that's so, then it would be a crocodile.

I think he meant this one:

Jesus, I can't wait to play this game, that rolling dude looks so fun.
When am I gonna get to play it?
I'm going to assume soon, since it was apparently due a couple months ago
When am I gonna get to play it?
Q3 2014 according to Polygon.
Just stick with 80's synth.
80's synth wouldn't make sense because (iirc) wrong number doesn't take place in the 80's.
Everything in the first game was Synthwave and so is Carpenter Brut?
The genre itself keeps shifting names.

Apparently they're brother and sisters who are controlled at the same time.
The first game was damn near perfect in its simplicity. I'm pretty excited to see where they take it this time.

Damn, even though I found it weird that he followed the other player too well, for a moment I thought it would be co-op. Don't know how it would work but that would be cool
Even if it was, I can't imagine co-op being that fun because if one person fucks up you'll either have to restart or they're out until the next section.
A time trial mode where you have to be the first to finish the level would be cool though.
They need to make like a Smash TV style minigame for Hotline Miami
[editline]8th April 2014[/editline]
with co-op, of course

I'd buy that for a dollar!
That said, holy shit, that dude with the sub machine guns. I immediately want this game. Kinda hoping the AI isn't hurk mcdurk again.
So you can dual wield SMGs and fire them in different directions? Fucking shit that's awesome.
Jesus christ that was amazing, I am getting this ASAP.
So the individual characters all have special abilities / weapons that radically shift elements of the gameplay for them, rather than a single character using different masks that give unique bonuses. If you can pick which character to play as per level, I can see a lot of extra replayability from how the different characters handle things.
