We're finally going to kill some landsharks!
I bought this game in like 2012 or something and haven't heard anything since. I'm glad that it hasn't become vaporware.
I've been really curious about this game.
This has been one of the things which I was looking forwards to the most and I was always a lil unsure what to make of it.
Well it is still a bit barebones altho the devs have improved the game vastly after getting IM on STEAM Early Access, progress is being made much more regularly these days and the community manager is a awesome dude who will answer all your questions etc.
Right now you could buy it to support them, note tho that i have really high hopes for this in the future as well.
Right now, even though there is a major lack of content for this game, I was really shocked by how immersive it is. It's just really basic multiplayer modes but all the maps are designed to be training arenas and they really feel like real places. There's a great attention to detail in them.

It's pretty fantastic.
I bought the spearhead package way back when it was announced, and got sent a lot of their investor presentation documents. Some of the stuff they'd worked on was really cool - mainly the sound engine, which had features like altering sound in a room based on what's present, doors open or closed, how muffled someone sounds when they're behind a closed door, etc.
The microphone system was pretty impressive as well, much like the sound system, the way your voice went over comms depended on the helmet, if you had it up and deactivated you'd be 'broadcasting' into the room and not over radio and if you had it down the rest of the players could hear you.
Cannot wait to rip these things and then put them in Gmod.
feels like space engineers for some reason.
Took them long enough
hopefully this game is amazing, it is taking way to fucking long though
(i'm one of those cool spearhead donators)
i have a spearhead account :^)

Whats that?
Oh nvm deluxe edition sorta stuff
This game has some of the coolest mechanics in a first person shooter. I'm glad it's finally getting done. Bought it on a flash sale for like $3.75 and I can't wait for it to become an actual game.

Likewise mate, maybe we could organize some games via STEAM when this comes out.

Ooh, I didn't notice this was a thing. I've been looking for an excuse to play this more.
This makes me think of alien swarm if it was an actual first person game.
I've been following since around 2012 and while I haven't played the game real heavily, I hope it succeeds.
It has a lot of cool things going for it that up the immersion and gameplay, small details.
