Making an H-Game is a damn tough task, on top of regular game-making problems. It's not something you can rally put on your resume, not something that you can advertise proudly, and many other problems.

I can personally vouch for this.
On top of all of the issues normal game design has to deal with, porn games have two additional challenges:
The first is attention retainability. Long story short, if people are playing a porn game, it's [B]most likely [/B] because they want something to nut to. They don't want to sit through 20 minutes of dialogue, drama, and puzzle-solving. They just want to get to the fucking.
Writing games that get around this is a challenge. My personal approach to it is the same approach that I use for basically all of my extended media (comics, films, web series, games, etc): "come for the sex, stay for the story." Which is to say, I personally prefer to lead with a strong first act (EG it launches into porn with little set-up), and then after (and sometimes even during) it begins to set up the narrative and other gameplay mechanics. That way the people who just want to nut-and-dump can do so without a barrier to entry, and those who are actually genuinely interested in the game can continue to enjoy it.
The second issue is designing games that can be played not only with one hand (because, again, if someone is playing a porn game it's probably because they want to nut, ergo one hand is busy), but with either the right hand or the left hand (since some people use their dominant hand, while others use their non-dominant hand).
Let me tell you, there is nothing that makes you re-evaluate your life choices quite like sitting with a 7,000-word design document for game, and legitimately asking yourself "will people be able to comfortably play this with one hand jerking themselves off?"

for some people its not just about sex though, it's about this weird sense of companionship you get. to you it may seem as convincing as a corpse, but for some people it's as good as the real thing(eg, maybe they've been severely burned by previous partners and dont want to deal with that shit anymore).
