I like LWT and I'm still going to probably call it that. Glad he finally poked a little fun at all the cuck shit thrown his way.
Hey postal, I'll pay you 500 bucks to forcibly redirect Tudd's connection to this site to this video for the next four years.
They went above and beyond with the closing this time around, sometimes you don't need tons of props, just good acting and writing
He makes a very good point about how the mistrust on "mass media" comes from people who instead get their news from even more dubious sources like Breitbart, InfoWars, Fox News, or fucking Facebook. It's ultimately confirmation bias of their factually incorrect views what leads to this distrust.
Hey postal, I'll pay you 500 bucks to forcibly redirect Tudd's connection to this site to this video for the next four years.
Can we like... just stop this shit, please? Disagree with someone all you like. Disagree away. But little feuds like this should not spread to every single thread in regards to politics. It's just a little petty is all I'm saying.
the cuck joke, the caillou cancer joke (both great by the way) did john oliver update his writing team with a couple of internet shitposters?
Hey postal, I'll pay you 500 bucks to forcibly redirect Tudd's connection to this site to this video for the next four years.
Yeah silence disenting opinions, that's not fascist in the slightest.

No, their gods are obviously fake and don't exist, but ours are definitely real! So you should totally donate your life savings to our church!

They mostly spin spin spin instead of say outright lies like the other 3. (At least their news does, their pundits are a different story)
Stop trying to summon or redirect conversation to being about Tudd in every thread like he's some netherworld beast kthx
Stop trying to summon or redirect conversation to being about Tudd in every thread like he's some netherworld beast kthx
But it's okay in mega64 threads right? He's basically canon lore now
I think I've reached a point where banging my head against the wall to see which one wins is becoming a valid option. I'm not sure I can actually handle this insanity anymore.
Hey postal, I'll pay you 500 bucks to forcibly redirect Tudd's connection to this site to this video for the next four years.
Do people think I am incapable of finding humor in such things. The video was fine and I still like John Oliver. He just still has some weird non-funny jokes thrown in that amount to alot of yelling.

I find John Oliver pretty funny for the most part, but his "I'm becoming manic!" bits are awkward.
I honestly think his 'comedy' bits are terribly unfunny. They come across as 'let's tell the guys in the back to photoshop something random and use it in a joke' half the time. The real meat of the show I'm almost always behind - it's great and funny on it's own sometimes too. But the random jokes he throws in there feel so forced it makes me cringe.
I honestly think his 'comedy' bits are terribly unfunny. They come across as 'let's tell the guys in the back to photoshop something random and use it in a joke' half the time.
Maybe I read it as a post somewhere, or this was a sleep-deprivation-derived hallucination, but I swear I remember John Olliver, on air, saying that is almost exactly what they do: the Photoshop department gives the writers a handful of random images for a session, and then the writers go through and write jokes for them and work them into the presentation. I distinctly remember John himself saying he has absolutely no idea why half the images exist or what they're supposed to be, and I also remember him commending the writing team for being able to make any sense out of half of those images. If this was a sleep-deprivation-derived hallucination, it was a really vivid one...

he has some really good jokes, and i think this episode was a big step up from the last season, but he's definitely at his worst when he sticks to the script too much and won't drop a bad joke until after his memorized "no [generic person name], you can't do [hilariously stereotypical course of action]!!" bits

You can actually see a perfect example of Trump validating fake news recently, when CNN cut off Bernie Sanders for calling them 'fake news', in which Info Wars ran an article on it the following day, prompting Trump to tweet this the day after: It was really scary hearing John Oliver say that to subscribers of alternative media, Trump is the first president to speak the truth; because it hits the nail on the head on why he has so many supporters. [editline]February 13, 2017[/editline] And also on how he capitalizes on small mistakes in the media, inflating them to show how much the media lies, and ignores the rest of the article. You can see a perfect example of this when the New York Times ran an article describing the chaos of the new administration. Later that day, Sean Spicer was asked about the article and deflected the question by describing inaccuracies in unimportant anecdotes such as Trump owning a bathrobe, immediately invalidating the whole article as 'fake news'.
I fucking died at the [sp]clitoris[/sp] bit.
Voting is a privilege
Jesus fucking christ where do these people come from?
Jesus fucking christ where do these people come from?
...America? I mean you can quite literally get your right to vote taken away even as a citizen here
There is no right to be able to vote in America for literally everyone. Just a right for citizens to vote. You qualify because you are a citizen, an adult, and aren't a Felon. So yes it is a privilege in principle. You just have the right to not be discriminated based on class, gender, race, etc.
And even then (if i understand the electoral college correctly) the official presidential election doesn't take into account these votes. America is weird.
And even then (if i understand the electoral college correctly) the official presidential election doesn't take into account these votes. America is weird.
Essentially the votes do matter, but they can matter more (alot more) depending on the state you live in and how the populations are. Florida for example is always a bigger player because its population is big (More EC votes), but it has a 50/50 chance being red or blue. So votes really do matter there. The winner take all system is what makes people feel their vote "doesn't count," because it means if you live in a monolith voting block state like California, you better hope there was a political revolution recently to turn that 80% democrat vote to around 50%. Then the small population states are given a minimum number of EC votes regardless of their population to help prop them, and that pisses off people too.

For fucks sakes guys, lighten up a little. I seriously doubt that Sonador was actually being serious, I'm 90% sure he was just making a joke.
