Fucking loved this game on the PS
I bought a ps3 just for this game
Well, shit. It's happening.
Is this what hype for video games feels like? It's been so long. Vanquish was fucking amazing. Also never forget Jim Sterling gave Vanquish a 5/10. e: Guess people here aren't versed in the long-running joke about Vanquish's review scores.

The way it was ment to be played.

Do you guys even rea- oh no, you app. can't.
Five out of Five or five out of 10?
5 out of I really sometimes have poor taste out of ten Also, how where bayo and this pc port developed, really interested how they did it.
Oh no. I have my steam library organised by category. Do I put this in the shooter category or the character action category? Just make a Platinum games category? Also, it's 25% off if you own Bayonetta on steam.
never thought i'd see the day
Oh no. I have my steam library organised by category. Do I put this in the shooter category or the character action category?
Put it in the "take a quick smoke break behind cover to heal" category.
Hope i can handle the game with my computer. Quite happy about it.

Does the level of enjoyment a game gives you decrease just because someone else dislikes it?

Also never forget Jim Sterling gave Vanquish a 5/10.
You should never watch people who cover large genres of games because they probably write their review based on bias or from a general rubric. I always prefer reviews from people like the guys at Easy Allies because they're transparent in who writes the review and it usually coincides with their strongest genre if applicable (like anime games or RTS).
Hey the price on steam is pretty good. I think I'll buy it.
Rich Evans has finally done it
So, what was the deal with Vanish that made people dislike it so much? Because to be honest, when I first heard of this game, it was in a "top 10 promising games that turned out to be failures" youtube video. Did people not get how to play it right or what?

Look, people arguing about scores.

They're notoriously terrible at playing games in general. Polygon's "first 30 minutes of Doom" video is a perfect example of this. Platinum's games have always been lowly rated by "reviewers" because it takes more than five minutes to understand the mechanics and require more fine motor skills than a broken extendo-claw, which these people clearly don't have. Look at God Hand's reviews, they're really low despite the game being a fucking gem.

Vanquish takes a little bit to really kick it into top gear too. So the first impressions can be a bit eh. But once you understand how to work with the shooting and movement mechanics properly it's a blast.

Rich Evans finally gets what he wants.
No fucking way :v:
If the port is good, this will be an instant buy for me.

On my first (and only) time playing it I got stuck a few times, which I estimate added about half an hour to my completion time, and I still finished it in less than 5 hours.
