Can't wait
Holy shit, they've got Dan Abnett as a writer? This game just keeps looking better and better.
Air conditioners don't exist in the future?
The station is failing.
Dabnett
is great for 40K; has zero experience writing for this particular premise and genre.
Dan Abnett, fuck yes! Gaunt's Ghosts was great! Although, he may be a tad unfamiliar with horror. But he's been shown to be capable of adapting to new genres; he used to do purely comic books before Black Library picked him up; and now he's writing half their books.
Damn this game looks pretty so far

But yeah, he'll know nothing about writing for this particular genre.
Sorry no. His shit is literally perfected for 40K and his comic run is rather bombastically/grim-with purpose similar, which is the exact opposite milieu this needs. 40K ripped off Aliens and cranked up the ridiculous to 11 to get Nids. I've already seen comic book omg so much awesome Aliens, it was called Alien: Resurrection and it generally completely sucked dead gangrenous donkey ass.
boo-hoo this writer can never write anything else well because he only wrote one thing that i think is good on-topic: I'm glad they kept the spaghetti-n-anal-beads look of the android guts. This game is shaping up to look very good
Damn this game looks pretty so far
sure it does, but if Colonial Marines taught us anything, it's that you can no longer trust the pre-release footage.
