It's that time of the year again, folks :v:
Very cool
I bet the Popcorn Maker would be a cool Nerd Box item!
The last one seemed like it was steering towards getting stale, but this one somehow kept it fresh.

Yeah, I agree. This one kept up around the same level of comedy as the second one, whereas the third and fourth ones kinda got stale for a bit.
I find most of their star wars content to be rather stale to begin with since it's mostly devolved into them being extra grumpy about the new movies and constantly yearning for something new to the point of raw repetitiveness.
I like most of their other content. But for some reason the Star Wars related content irks me because it's so overwhelmingly negative and the message basically hasn't changed since the Plinkett reviews.

I don't think its taking a jab at Star Wars specifically. Its this whole subculture that's developed around them that they're taking the piss out of.
Star Wars just happens to be the subject
Like look at all the marvel shit around them, its just as applicable with people that make garbage videos about marvel films
I like Rogue One, how was it abysmal?
Am I the only one who's excitement level for Last Jedi is pretty close to zero? This is the least excited I've ever been for a new star wars film. I dunno, maybe that's a good thing
I love when they read goofy shit off the wookipedia
but spider and robot legs darth maul did happen
I'm excited, but I'm already feeling the Star Wars fatigue and we've barely even started the new direction it's gonna be taking.
All of the prequels were released within a six-year time frame while The Force Awakens isn't even two years old yet. It's fucking crazy.

Through that entire bit I wasn't sure if they actually knew that almost everything they were saying about Darth Maul actually happened, because I know they hate animation and I don't think any of them watched Clone Wars.

I see RLM as fans of SW, but not the type to want to watch TCW at all. Pretty sure they'd love to hear Sam Witwer as Darth Maul and actually making Anakin a likable and developed character.

everything was pretty good but character development lacked
this means that it is a terrible movie
The worst part of rogue one for me was that it felt the need to explain the death star flaw, but everything else was solid and genuine. It actually tried something original and showed a lot more ground warfare in a much more convincing light than the previous films which to me was a welcome novelty.

This is incredibly cool, I admire the authenticity the Disney executives and animators have decided to place into this character. The ideas are incredibly cool, and it is a pity that Darth Maul did not play a larger part in like, ALL of Star Wars. But I guess we will have to occupy with other, very cool characters.

I mean these are the guys that say having an AT-STs,TIEs,AT-ATs, and Star Destroyers is pandering to fans despite this being like days if not hours before ANH. But say you can't have the Empire without them, while praising TFA for it's rehash of ANH and creative designs like TIE-Fighters and X-Wings.

The ground war stuff was interesting, I suppose, but put that in the inevitable Battle of Hoth standalone movie. This movie would have been so much better if it was an infiltration stealth movie instead.
Rogue One was okay, I would probably never watch it again though.
I thought they were fucking around with the alien hamster thing, but then I found out the truth from a Facebook ad.
