So what parts do I skip to avoid stupid exposition dumps?
That was actually really good, and really suspenseful at times.
Overall, it was alright. The creature is as interesting as Eldritch horrors usually are and whereas most of these shorts I am like "Yeah, I'd watch a feature length film of that." This one I can't really see it being a full length movie without being just another monster movie. It did seem to have a few interesting concepts worth exploring though.
[sp]Also, how convenient that the pistol takes it down (even after a rifle seemingly did nothing to it) just long enough to get the door open. It was odd when she chopped the hand(s) off, it wailed but wasn't moving, breaking the immersion/illusion. Additionally, it wailed all the time but I don't think there were any mouths on it, having a mouth or several mouths would have added to the creep factor and also explain how it could wail like that. Maybe the hands on its chest were supposed to be a mouth-like orifice. [/sp]
I had to chuckle at [sp]the idea of the monster using its multiple hands for the door lock, like one fumbles keys on a key ring. [/sp]

Most of the dialogue seems to be exposition.

[sp]He states it knows about the vault. More than likely it wanted to let her get in there and it did stick her in the leg with something. Could just be a case of its waiting for her to make contact with the outside so it can absorb even more people.
On top of that is has Quinn's prints so it can easily get in. Arguably just keeping in line with the eldritch formula of "you stopped it for now but the end is still coming."[/sp]
I thought this was a bit better than the other two.

[sp]I'm not sure about the rifle rounds but he did say that the pistol rounds were explosive. Maybe that was enough to temporarily disable it?[/sp]
The monster [sp]and the part where the lady chops one of its arms off to get a viable fingerprint to get past locks[/sp] would make for a great action-horror game mechanic.
Quite the ambigious ending. As always could've done with less exposition but I felt this was a lot better structured than the last two.
hey, it actually had mouth. too bad it was to dark to see it

I-is that Milkshape 3D?
Because the only 3D program I know that uses those particular ball gimbals for bones / joints is Milkshape 3D.
Also, I can't stop laughing at that single fingernail that's flipped on its back.

First glance I think its in Maya.
Oh cool, so that really was Dakota Fanning. This one was better than Firebase, but fell prey to the class disparity themes that are in all of his features. It felt pretty out of place and almost unnecessary
