Looks like Mad Max Fury Road if Tim Burton created it.
I saw this before TLJ, and not only is the idea completely ridiculous, but I desperately want to see it.
I'm trying really, really hard to remember if I enjoyed this book series when I was young. I know I read all the books. But the visualisation of the engines looks fantastic

I barely remember anything that happens in the series, I know I enjoyed it but the only thing I can remember is that at the end [sp]almost everybody dies.[/sp]
I loved these books when I was a kid!
That looks amazing. I was afraid it'd be really gloomy and no colors, but it seems pretty vibrant.
So this isn't about the Stanislaw Lem short stories? Because those are awesome.
So this isn't about the Stanislaw Lem short stories? Because those are awesome.
That's going to be a different movie.
Official Teaser Trailer 1:29 That's not a fucking Teaser. [editline]18th December 2017[/editline] That said, England Prevails!
Length has nothing to do with teasers. Teasers are about showing very little of what to expect and only make vague hints.
Don't know anything about this but seeing the trailer the other day, it looks so fucking cool.
Book spoilers [sp]If london is that big, Panzerstadt-Bayreuth must be fucking gigantic. [/sp]
I remember reading the first two books in the series when I was in my early teens and really enjoyed it. They've captured the visual of the cities perfectly.
The book series is amazing. They should do Leviathan next. [t]https://scottwesterfeld.com/wp/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/LeviathanGrandMapBIG.jpg[/t] I wonder if we'll see any suicide bomber kids in the next movies.
What's this annoying trend of putting a random snippet of the trailer at the start?
What's this annoying trend of putting a random snippet of the trailer at the start?
YouTube prerolls have a 5-second unskippable start. Put a small 5-second thing at the beginning and you only have one trailer you have to push out.
What's this annoying trend of putting a random snippet of the trailer at the start?
funnily enough it only JUST happened to me the other day, because I was trying to pull something up on youtube through my TV (thus, no adblock). It seems a 5 second micro trailer is a hook for when the video is played as a youtube ad with the delayed skip button. It's to get people to not hit skip it's fucking driving me up a wall that they don't remove the buggers from TV spots, I even recall it happening in a theater a few times this past year. I don't know if half the people distributing these are in the loop that it may just be meant for the youtube version and not everything else [editline]e[/editline] wow look at that mini post teasing my larger post
fucking yessssss the book is amazing. I can't believe this movie is finally getting made.
I imagined them all as pyramids with tank treads in my head when I read the books but these look nice too.
Huh, after reading up some synopsis to remind myself what happened in the book they descarred Hester quite a bit. I always imagined her being real fucked up but in this [sp]she even still has both her eyes. I hope they don't bitch out when you see under her mask[/sp]
I loved that book as a kid, I liked it becuase it had darker elements than a lot of other books for that age group, like slavery and death [sp]Rip Dog[/sp]. The author came into my school too, I still have a signed copy of the book somewhere. Pretty excited to see how this comes out, hope they don't deviate too much.
Where was this book when I was reading from the school libraries? I'm not what the age demographic is for this apparent book but looks like something I'd read in between classes or after school like I did with A series of Unfortunate Events.
All i remember is the first one had that one robot dude who i'm pretty sure was cool.
Shrike is the coolest robot dude and I hope they do him justice.
Shrike is the coolest robot dude and I hope they do him justice.
Isnt the description of him pretty much just Sektor.
Shrike is the coolest robot dude and I hope they do him justice.
I thought you meant this Shrike for a second and was wondering whether they were making a Hyperion movie. [t]http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/hyperion_tropes_2620.jpg[/t]

This film looks incredible and I've watched the trailer like 8 times now. But did she really need a spyglass to find out that it was approaching lmfao
