• My sister's dog keeps foaming and I have no idea what to do, what can I do?

So my sister went to vacation yesterday and asked me to take care of her dog for the next 3 weeks. However, she didn't tell me that he was sick, she told me the day he brought him over. I'm supposed to give him antibiotics 2 times a day, which is fine, but I can't handle all the drooling and foaming. Today he came from the terrace into the living and shook himself, splattering drool and foam all over me, the windows and the carpet. I don't know if I should keep changing the water in his water bowl, because everytime he only takes a little sip it looks like this: [IMG_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/LXSzONt.jpg[/IMG_thumb] If I get a tissue to wipe away the drool there comes even more drool, it's like a waterfall. Also the drool changed it's color, it used to be clear like water and now it's all milky. [IMG_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/VSroNXV.jpg[/IMG_thumb] I can't lock him outside, but there's drool everywhere and it's really disgusting. I was also wondering if the disease could infect humans, since I don't want my father and me to become sick. Does anyone know what to do?
[QUOTE=Wormy;52474117]One possible cause could be rabies, but I think it would be best if you take the dog to a vet just to be safe.[/QUOTE] She already went with him to the vet yesterday and he prescribed antibiotics, so the dog should be fine. It's just all the drooling that I can't handle and the possibility that it might be contagious.
Is there anything else notably odd happening, or just the foaming? Are the antibiotics in tablet form, or do you have to squirt a needle less syringe into its mouth?
keep cleaning up after the dog, giving it antibiotics, and tell the owner to go fuck themselves for not telling you about the dogs illness. its not infectious, its just drooly and gross.

My sister told me to just mix the tablet in yogurt but iirc you shouldn't mix antibiotics with dairy products, so I just tried adding it to his normal food which seems to work.
I sure hope it's not bloat

who the fuck can even go on a vacation and be like "yeah just bury him in the backyard" when their dog has an apparently life-threatening disease?
your sister sounds like a cunt, to be honest. and don't bury the dog in your garden, wtf kind of advice is that
honestly if the dog was taken to the vet and they gave him antibiotics and sent him back home i seriously doubt the dog is gonna just drop dead. itll be fine, just keep medicating it as prescribed,

I just wish I could do something about the drooling, but I'd feel bad locking him out.
Dogs are family, man... Your sis has no heart.
