Anyone have one of these? If so, what do you think about it.
I'm interested in honest opinions about it, as I am getting it for christmas.
Also 311 is an extremely good band.
Asus makes the best netbooks

I'm aware of that, but this has the new Nvidia ION chipset in it, which means I can play HD videos, play a lot of games decently, and many other things.
Yes I know there is an eeePC that has the ION chip now but it's $100 more than this.

I'm pretty sure the point of the thread was to give him an answer whether it's good and not to say that some other company makes better.

Hp is a bit less reliable. But it is still a great A brand.
Asus, Toshiba, Sony, Acer(in that order) make the most reliable netbooks/laptops. (Source:Local newspaper)
HP was on number 20 from the 60 brands we have.

I trust HP in terms of reliability, I've had the same HP desktop for 4 years, almost 5 and it's never had a single issue.
I won't even touch anything that says HP on it, I've had so many problems with them. They come with so much bloatware it's not even funny.

get an asus or an msi, stay away from acer toshiba and hp
I have it,
For it's size its packs a pretty big punch in terms of performance but if your use to any sort of computer as of recent you'll definetely feel the crippling slow the atom brings it. In terms of running windows and watching any resolution of video, this machine will do it and windows 7 makes it feel very snappy. Play any recent game and the atom shows how weak it really is. Any UE3 game is unplayable, the most recent game you can probably expect to play would be left for dead. its playable at a low average of 25fps but the fps goes as low as 15fps during intense hordes, in my opinion playable (main rig plays 60fps constant). Battery life is about 4-5 hours web browsing and supposedly 4hours while watching video but I cant confirm the second.
all in all, I knew the atom sucked before buying it, but hot damn is that thing is a bottleneck

the most demanding game I'll play is TF2, and I've seen videos of it being pretty playable on it, so I'm not worried.
HP support is awesome.
