• 3DCoat Modding Tool for RUST?

Hi guys, We are the development team behind 3DCoat (www.3dcoat.com) and the recently launched 3DCoat Modding Tool. We started with the adaptation of CS:GO and our plan is to gradually expand the lineup of games supported within the tool. Some users on Steam have been asking us for an integration with RUST, so we decided to make a post here and find out your opinion. Our intention would be, just the same way it works with CS:GO already, to simplify the skin creation experience for the user as much as possible: we can automate the importing of an in-game model with all the related parts, layers and textures into the editor, assemble a proper scene  - the user would only need to design a skin and press the export button to get it properly packed and ready for Steam Workshop. We would pre-compose scenes with models and textures from the game. Usually the player may download it from Rust UI, combine the model and textures manually. But with the modding tool he will get ready scenes with all textures applied to the model. In this case we will need to ship that pre-combined scenes together with the modding tool. It will be archives readable only by 3DCoat, not just obj files and textures. So we ask your permission to ship those packages to users to help them start modding easily without too much manual pre-composing. We simplify this task to user and leave him only creative tasks. Such a pipeline would minimize all the usual routine the user has to go through. Below are a couple images of how this could potentially look. https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/237045/6fc38642-941d-4436-8859-2a66dfe4fc1b/Rust_2.png https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/237045/6f1cc3a3-bf29-4071-9bbb-bc90939a82b1/Rust_1.png So let us know if you like the idea? Ultimatley, we'd need OK from the developers of RUST to proceed with delivering such a tool. Thanks!
If it costs what, I don't think it's interesting. We need open source software in which everybody can participate.
I would love this, sadly the program is a bit pricey for me, however a good way to promote the software is to have giveaways and then i could get it !
I gave it a shot, it seems like something I'd be intrested in but It's a bit overwhelming. Are there tutorals that the inexperienced can use?
