Recent post from the homepage takes you to the start of the thread

It's a bit annoying to have to start from page 1 every time I want to see a new post on a thread featured on the home page. Probably still some things being ironed out, but it would be appreciated if it was taken care of .

I'm hoping that if I click on the thread button, it would take me to my last read post instead of the first post of the thread. Thx <3

Maybe I'm misunderstanding but I think this only works once you're IN the subforum. If I click that right-side box from homepage I get taken to the OP every time. If I'm INSIDE the subforum and then click it, I get taken to the new post.
