All-new animated Sonic shorts are coming to YouTube! Speed back into the world of Sonic Mania in this sneak peek at part of the first episode of "Sonic Mania Adventures".
I approve of that art style and animation.
The animation and design are great, but the sound could use some work (Seriously that running sound effect at the end is overkill)
It's also got the problem where there's almost no sound other than the music. It's dead.
I want Sonic to sound like Urkle again
It's an early animation, they're still working on it, as said in their SXSW panel
I'm glad they finally realized that sonic should just stay looking like this.
I dont think we'll be seeing modern sonic in a non spinoff for a while.
This is just a one-off couple of shorts to help promote Sonic Mania Plus since the trailer animations were super well received, Sonic Team ain't just throwing Modern Sonic to the wind all of a sudden like what
I heavily approve of this. I don't think Sonic's ever gotten an animated show quite this loyal to it's video game inspiration before. I think a Sonic show would serve better as mostly dialogue-less shorts that focus on impressive animation and interesting set pieces, like this appears to be. Though we'll have to wait and see, I guess.
I am so glad that Tyson Hesse was able to make it big. But at the same time I am so sad that we will never see Boxer Hockey continued for a while.
